Some teams are better left un-united. See Serbia & Montenegro vs. Serbia.

44' 1-0 Greece hoofs a lob to the goal line -- a nasty (and faintly desperate) tactic, as Jung Sung-Ryong must look directly into the winter sun, with three guys crashing his goal-mouth. Jung somehow mantains focus, catches it, bobbles it, but falls and cradles it.

45' 1-0 Greece do the lob thing again -- this time to the top of the 6, and it misses a sliding Charisteas's foot by about one diameter, as Jung sprawls and smothers it.

I really hope for Greece's sake that they weren't expecting to win the cup with this laughable team.

I really can't see Greece scoring againt Argentina and Nigeria. Looks like their record will stay intact.

This match isn't even at altitude and Greece can't and shouldn't use the temperature as an excuse. Comes down to fitness IMHO. Sound mind = sound body.

An early goal by S.Korea turned the tactical advantage to them, as it allowed S.Korea to better utilize its strengths while neutralizing the way the Greeks like to play. S.Korea could have scored a couple more goals, while Greece has so far not shown it has a clue how to break open the S.Korean defense.

This has not been a particularly entertaining or impressive match by either side, but certainly S.Korea have the better of the game while the Greeks have shown nothing.

Yeah!Their only previous appearance at the finals was in '94 and lost all three games:

4-0 against Argentina(Gabriel Batistuta got a hatrick and Maradona scored a nice one!).
    4-0 against Bulgaria.
    2-0 against Nigeria.

-10 goal differential with 0 goals for :(

And they have to play 2 of those teams again. They could very well go goal-less again.

The first 15-20 minutes were entertaining but the game kinda slowed down after that.Hope to see more openings for both side in the 2nd half.

That's possible but let's hope they score at least 1 for their people and their country who's going through a rough period economically....

Sorry to harp but the stadium is literally 50% empty...

Very good game though, enjoying it as a neutral.

Greece must do something (perhaps start running at some pace instead of leisurely strolling around...).

Whoa, Greece is showing no fitness or skill whatsoever, quite a show for the team that won the Euro 2004

A greek player receives a pass, totally loses control of the ball, Park runs over 2 (3) greek defenders and does a very pro job of slotting it into the goal.

I personally have better control of a ball (not bragging, that first touch upon receiving the ball was atrocious, 2nd touch let the ball get away from him about 1 metre.... 1.5 metre?).

No... ha ha! Seriously, Greece. Where's your REAL team?

Man. This Greek team might as well pack their bags right after this match.

52' 2-0 Greece fancy-foot just behind midfield left sideline -- cheeky one-touch backpass looked slick, but accomplished -- what? Greece LB plays a simple square-pass to #11 Loukas Vyntra at 25m center above his own goal -- and he coughs it up 3m from his feetprint, right into the stride of #7 Park Ji-Sung sprinting the other way. Park glides into the box, veers left post away from pressure, carries to 7m left post, and rolls a simple shot under Tzorvas to the right back corner low.
