Why isn't that guy playing in the USL? I know that he has had a lot of immigration issues but c'mon...
Jeff Agoos is currently working for XM Radio for their World Cup coverage... as is Dave Johnson, the Comcast's play-by-play guy for United games www.xmradio.com/worldcup/index.jsp
He just signed with Chivas. In another post sometime ago there was talk of giving him a nice welcome home reception. Possibly even a welcome home banner.

They won the league but not the playoffs. That honor went to Vancouver, and ex-Newcastle keeper Tony Caig Thx, Jay!
How about a list former players (and former coaches now further along) in the coaching ranks? And amend Simpson's entry as current asst coach for DC United - And Agoos and Harkes and Williams as current asst coaches/etc at NY Red Bull
Sockpuppet. Why don't you just be up front about whatever beef you have with Abdul Thompson Conteh instead of posting broken links.
Ryan McIntosh (last year's #3 GK for DCU) played in Atlanta's USOC game against FC Dallas which ended in a 1 -1 tie and then was won by Dallas 4-3 in 6 rounds of PKs. He is the #2 GK in Atlanta.
Carvallo, Jose Peru Months with United: 6? Pre United: Universitario (came to United on loan) Post United: Sporting Cristal (on loan) Current whereabouts (27/7/2008): "I am going to fight for a starting spot!" at Sporting Cristal - sound familiar?
This thread's pretty moribund but I saw a highlight last night of Franco Niell shooting over the crossbar in a scoreless tie against Boca Juniors. He plays for Gimnasia & Esgrima (Gymnastics & Fencing!) de La Plata and they're doing fairly well - tied for 7th near the end of the Apertura season. Boca was the favorite and the tie kept them from clinching the title - they're now tied with Tigre with 1 game remaining. http://www.diariohoy.net/accion-verNota-id-7735-titulo-Gimnasia_y_Boca_empataron_sin_goles
Anyone catch the blogs about Mike Ammann on BS front page today? One of the links includes a tidbit about United, and his current activities. He's a sales executive at ViON, in DC. Apparently he was none too happy with his departure. /might be old news.
No that one won't. But look at the page thru 2009.... http://www.persingspieces.com/homepage/dcu1996-2009.html
http://www.capitalgazette.com/sports/pro_sports/ph-ac-cs-soc-ifkmd-coach-22416-20160223-story.html Chris Saul and IFK Maryland planned to turn to Luciano Emilio as a veteran presence in the lineup when the new franchise begins play this spring in the American Soccer League. However, an Achilles tendon injury to the former Major League Soccer star earlier this month derailed those plans and pushed Emilio's status with the team in a new direction. Saul announced on Tuesday that the former MLS most valuable player and D.C. United standout will take the reins as IFK Maryland's first head coach. Emilio, 37, has been directing the team's training the past week in preparation for the April 9 season-opening match against Philadelphia at Baltimore's Latrobe Park.

http://www.nasl.com/news/2017/01/31/conor-doyle-yuma-join-puerto-rico-fc- Puerto Rico FC announced new signings for the 2017 season today, signing forward Conor Doyle Doyle who brings English Championship as well as MLS experience with him. The 25-year-old forward has experience at the International level also, having first made appearances for the Ireland U-21 squad before joining the U.S. U-20 squad, making six appearances and scoring four goals. It’s that attacking instinct that attracted Derby County to give Conor his first professional contract. He made 22 appearances and gained valuable experience there before being loaned to DC United, a move that was made permanent in 2014. He went on to play 56 games for United before being traded in 2016 to the Colorado Rapids.
