Look, I think he's a terrible signing for ANY team right now. He's washed up and I don't think you can make up his salary by selling tickets, jerseys, energy drinks, or whatever else. Just a terrible investment.

We are stuck with Marquez the same way the Red Bulls are stuck with Erik Soler.

Both amazing stars! Giving out results.

Lets do a review of Soler off season objectives.

    1. Solid defense

result: 2nd in the league in goals given up

    2. Protect team from injuries

    result: we run a nursery

Do I keep going? or you guys dont want to hear it ?

Just because we don't all take a doom and gloom approach to being a fan of this team doesn't mean we're oblivious to the club's problems. There are other things to discuss other than constantly listing reasons why the club will fail, which is all you and some others really seem interested in doing.

I will kip going for you Vino Tinto:

Human being reach they potentials at 28 years old, at 29 they start they descendant way to dust, so in sport like soccer a 29 years old players is a old player, period...(Of course, every rule have his exceptions, I agree with that, but this have to be exceptional human being to be out of the rules)...We don't have any body in our group of 8 very old Sr. citizen....

    RBNY happen to have 8 players in this category, 3/29 players, 1/30, 1/31. 1/32. 1/33 and 1/34...
(For comparison Kansas City have only 2, Julio Cesar 33, and Nagamura 29.)....

From this players the ones 29 players like Ballouchy and Keel that were under the average category and that at this age they are garbage's, the other Conde was a good player, but because he is prone to injuries, he is under average too...

Lindpere 30, Solli 31, Tainio 32 always has been average players in they days, at the present they are under average for several reasons....

Marquez was a good player but at 33 tiered and unselfish, he is a complete garbage...

Henry, he was a excellent player, today still a good player, but by him self he will not carrier this team to no place and very soon will be under average player because for his prone to injuries and his age that is chasing him pretty close....

So, what Soler and Backe has bring to this team, that we can say they are ready to win a trophy?...only three things, Nothing, Nothing and Nothing...

The truth may hurt but it's the truth. You hit it right on the money with your comment but some people get angry when we tell them the truth . Erik soler get paid thousand of dollars to get things right and he has failed miserably. for those who like to call me gloomy what have we ever won? Compared to other new York teams have have we done ? Nothing . How long will it take for the fan base to say no more. New stadium and is half empty, one of the most expensive teams and no results. I'm I a cheerleader ? No, I like to win and I want things done right and right now they are being done carelessly . One more season ahead of us with absolutely no hope .
