pass the crack pipe tico... that said i hope you have a good time watching your boys get stomped by uncle sam
I too get the feeling that this match is gonna be raucous. I suspect scalping prices will continue to rise. Bring the earplugs.
Man, everyone better bring their voices for this one. I want US Soccer to remember the loudest crowd in their history was in Denver.
Don't worry. We have tifo planned and we're already working out the capo/drummer crew. The naysayers are going to be blown away by what they'll see in Denver.
look at this bro.. Sábado 8 de octubre del 2005 Costa Rica 3 – 0 Estados Unidos Sede: San José, Estadio Ricardo Goles: 1-0: Paulo Wanchope (CR) 32’ / 2-0: Carlos Hernández (CR) 60’ / 3-0: Carlos Hernández (CR) 87’ Miércoles 3 de junio del 2009 Costa Rica 3 – 1 Estados Unidos Sede: San José, Estadio Ricardo Goles: 1-0: Álvaro Saborío (CR) 1’ / 2-0: Celso Borges (CR) 12’ / 3-0: Pablo Herrera (CR) 70’ / 3-1: Landon Donovan –penal- (Estados Unidos) 91’ Miércoles 14 de octubre del 2009 Estados Unidos 2 – 2 Costa Rica Sede: Washington, Estadio RFK Goles: 0-1: Bryan Ruiz (Costa Rica) 20’ / 0-2: Bryan Ruiz (Costa Rica) 23’ / 2-1: Michael Bradley (Estados Unidos) 71’/ 2-2 Jonathan Bornstein (Estados Unidos) 95’ Not including the last friendly game in California we won 1-0.. is tougher for us play against El Salvador
Since 1975 US vs. CR all matches: US 11 wins; CR 12 wins; 5 draws. Take your cherry picked games and stuff 'em in you're crack pipe.
see the bolded in response to the first 2... as for number 3 we had already clinched WC Bid earlier... ffs jonny borstein scored the equalizer... thats all you need to know
Thought you were showing the 3 goals in each match. I know you have never won in San José, I don´t even remember a draw. it's fine don't worry Saborío knows well those fields, will score a couple.
"Knows well" these fields, indeed. I hope I didn't just take out a second mortgage to see him have his way here once again.
I only say that because the USA is frequently the away team in every match it plays in its own country, whether friendly or qualifier, though that has changed some in recent years.
I understand the US Soccer's attitude to where home games are played has totally changed. They get that having 20,000 US fans & a handful of away fans is they way to go & that partisan home support can translate to success of the field. I'm not sure if it's Jurgen pushing for this or Sunil has seen the light but it's very welcome. The only downside is the $50+ ticket prices, I guess they have to try & make up the revenue shortful due to playing in MLS Soccer Specific Stadiums somehow.
