Hope he keeps it up against the big teams. Not very impressive goals, but always good for a scorer to score.
He's earning his minutes. He's had recently good showings. He played in the hammering of La U' game yesterday. I think you're going a little hard on him. He'll get his time.
from what I read he dind't score yesterday, but did assist. Played a good game. a goal would have been great, but a good performance is the next best thing.
Dude is killing it. What a difference a little consistent playing time, coach support and team work can do to a player, don't it??
I hope so, hopefully he goes to Spain or Italy... I think those leagues suit him better than where he played before
I think Germany NOW is a good option. When he was at Werder, it just wasn't a good situation. Germany has changed so much even since then. It's a very technical league with physicality peppered in; yes spain and italy would suit him great, but I have a feeling teams in germany will be looking at him. Because there is money always there--England too is always an option...but not a great league for him unlesse it's with Roberto Martinez' Everton (guy who brought him to Wigan). He's an amazing coach and if they came after him right now, I would be happy. You have to THINK he's keeping an eye on him. I remember Moreno saying how he formed a close bond to him and learned a lot about how to be a professional from him when he was at Wigan. Martinez spoke very highly of him too despite him having trouble scoring.
M3 has scored 3 more goals since his first "doblete" of the season. Here is his latest goal. http://www.late.com.bo/incansable-martins-le-da-el-triunfo-a-cruzeiro/ He has proven to be a deadly fwd in the box. He needs quality midfielders to score, that is one thing he doesn't have at our national team. Wherever he goes from here he needs a great set up man in order to shine.
Rumors that Roma want him....but we'll see. I am surprised Curziero haven't stepped up to the plate and bought him from Gremio. If nothing changes, he will end up there again. Italy would be fun though...
Kinda old, but they're still interested. http://www.sambafoot.com/en/news/66..._for_gremio_owned_forward_marcelo_moreno.html
Felipao has stated that he would welcome Marcelo Moreno back at Gremio. There are reports about other European teams looking to sign him as well.
Hmmm, he's starting to become the Messi of our NT in that he performs great in club action but not so much in the NT. I hope I'm wrong and this past season with Cruziero will fuel him to do great things for Bolivia in 2015 and going forward.
To be fair, you put messi with Bolivia and he'd underperform. When eh plays for us he has no service.
That's what I meant by the Messi reference . . . he really has no service with the Argentinian NT. It'd be interesting to see Callejon play with Martins.
http://www.diez.com.bo/futbol-internacional/goles-del-boliviano-martins-china.html Off to China? He'll be making a great deal of money, but let's face it China is not a top league and he'll get very little exposure there. Plus coming here to train with the national team is near impossible in " microciclos". One thing is for sure he'll be set for life.
God....I wish he'd friggin come to MLS so I can watch him closer. The money's there, the league is up and coming and would help nurture a more 'physical' side to his game.
