surprised John Champion didn't call Suarez a cheat here for slicing and dicing through the nice gentleman of ManUre. Also surprised he didn't get a dig in to the effect of "Suarez ordinarily would have fallen looking for a penalty" Dickhead.
Looks to me like the fate's are conspiring against us. Their own ref and Champion having his factoid finder digging up every spectre from our past so he can quote in his inimitable, adanoidal, nasel, whiney, I'll get back at Liverpool because I was told off, way. "God, how I hate your ********ing team!"
This week is always tough. As an avid sports fan, there are many teams that I dislike and more than a few I hate (NewYorkNewJersey MetroRedBullDonkeys of Harrison, NJ with pride) but I can reliably state that there is no team I have come to hate as much as The Scum and that piece of shit manager they have. So it is an anxiety filled period. But remember what ever the outcome We Will Never Walk Alone
I even hate them more than this guy http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/8634675/manchester-united-epl-narrative-fatigue-problem
Noticed the manure are so 'confident' that no-one has started a thread yet. Or worried about what gets posted! This from the Mirror.http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/manchester-united-v-liverpool-preview-1528488
he has now said he is holding out for a premier league move. I'd love to see him in our red and also stop united getting him. Anyway i think we could win 3-0 , just a case of what liverpool decides to play
Loved these pics - at least some of them...too many of Neville (except for the last)...and what's up with the suits? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ted-v-Liverpool-rivalry--picture-special.html
reinawisdom.. skrtel.. agger.. johnsonlucas.. gerrardhendersondowning.. sturridge.. suarez jones, carra, suso, sterling, allen, shelvey, borini? downing over sterling simply for defensive purposes. wisdom can struggle against pace when he's too high. i have a good feeling about this one, guys. of course, i had one last sunday at fedex feild...
Rodgers: "His [Sturridge] best position is as a central striker." "There is not one way to play 4-3-3. You can have one up and two wingers, a floating nine like Luis Suarez, or you can have one like Daniel Sturridge playing centrally, with two in and around him playing narrow, and full backs bombing on. "The principles of your game are based on your players."
more: "This has been the plan for a few months. [At Ajax] he also played as a reverse winger from the left side. He wasn't quite out wide, he was tucked in round the corner. Wherever he plays he will make the same movements and he will find the space because he is a world-class player. It is not a problem at all." "It is never a problem having top players so don't talk about problems with players. We need good players."
well, you could be right in that suarez plays central and sturridge is on the bench. but, why break our necks to have sturridge signed so quickly not to have start in a game like this? it will be interesting to see how rodgers balances this. it's a risky move displacing your best player and top scorer, but i think sturridge offers better pace on the last defender's shoulder, and suarez will relish a freer role.
On the one hand, it seems a risk to play both together for the first time. But Rodgers has shown he is not afraid of taking risks and really what does he have to lose? The narrative is that this is a rebuilding year and a loss away at Man United is almost expected by the media. So why not do it? He will probably have to change it after an hour cos of Sturridge's lack of match fitness anyway.
Exactly. He goes into this with little expectation from our adherents and no belief from the meedja or neutrals. So why not?
