Just stumbled upon the following article, which mentioned that a soccer/football manager has coached 27 teams in his career so far!!

Is that some sort of world record?

Have tried to google a bit myself, the only related article I found was:
    http://www.statbunker.com/football/k...statType=M_MAN

The highest record in England so far is 8, by Dave Bassett:
    • Leicester City
    • Southampton
    • Watford
    • MK Dons
    • Barnsley
    • Sheffield United
    • Nottingham Forest
    • Crystal Palace
What's the record in MLS / the World?

From this list, looks like Thomas Rongen is the record holder in MLS with 4 teams:

Rudi Gutendorf coached 45 teams by my count (his coaching career lasted from 1946 to 2003).

It's not a complete list from what I can see. Just among current managers Tony Pulis and Danny Wilson have both managed 7 clubs, Sam Allardyce 8 (not 5 as listed), Martin Allen 9, Micky Adams 11 (9 different clubs), Neil Warnock 13 and Roy Hodgson 15 different clubs (Inter twice) and 4 national teams.

Obviously nowhere close to Gutendorf, though.

Roy Hodgson's 19 so far is likely a record for British Managers?
