Osvaldo and Marcus were both excellent.

    Osvaldo.

Even though Totti was brilliant today, Osvaldo deserves some credit for being simply sublime in linking the attack time after time. Some moments like that one attack which I think ended with Balzaready getting flagged for offside where Osvaldo cradled an over the head long ball and then one touched a back heel had me rewinding the DVR 5 times!

Gave it too Osvaldo. Lamela and Totti were close though

Marquinhos, im starting to love this player. So composed and efficient, 18 aswell! This guy has a very bright future ahead of him. I know Palermo didn't offer much of a threat tonight but the evidence is still there, even in previous games.

Marquinhos was on fire, time after time he made crucial interceptions to break up play or to stop a shot.
He is the new Thiago Sliva, there I said it.

The answer is Piris. If Piris doesn't work his ass off and stifle the Palermo attack, we would be suffering a third straight defeat. He was clearly targeted and he performed very well on both sides of the ball. He has made mistakes in the past and he is still a young player, but he did everything we needed for him to do yesterday.

might be to do with his age, but another thing that's nice about marquinho is he doesn't seem to point the finger at other players when we concede goals, he just does his job (and has done it very well so far)

Such a difficult call...Many were brillant on the night. Marquinhos, is this kid actually 18? He is already a leader, he was looking after Burdisso out their :ninja:

Piris gets a lot of stick but I like him a lot and he does get forward and attack....Of course has his faults like most of the side but the exciting thing is they're all so young and letting them grow together coming through the crappy results can grow the character of this side. He has a determined attitude imo and he will always give everything.

Taxi, unlike a lot of taxi drivers will always go for the direct route, no messing about! Sometimes he will give the ball away but we don't want no crab men aka Michael Carricks in our side, comparing each others pass completed percentages like a dick measuring contest. He is a beast....

Bradley just gets it, full of running, great attitude and just a great team player..Compared to a donkey like Gago, all reputation and hype because he a long time ago was a starter for Real...Bradley is easily twice the player and its not even close. On the night a very good shift

The front three, just amazing when they click...Totti what more can your write, Lamela, players bounce of him now and Osvaldo is the complete package and is only getting stronger...This is his breakout season and thank God we sold Borini ahead of him when all is said and done...I don't think anyone can dispute this any longer...

On the night when the attack shone, I think I have to give credit to the defence this time and the incredible positioning of Marquinhos....If he was out of position on a few occasions or was indecisive we would have conceded more
