Question for the fantasy gurus...with lots of players away on international duty and several teams on byes, is it worth it to do a lot of transfers for my team?
I'm in the same boat. You don't want to get zeroes, but zeroes are better than negative numbers. I have Keane, Zusi, Davis, Besler and Johnson all away for this week. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do. I think that my plan will be to pick up some of the cheaper guys who have at least been playing. They have more value than some of the losers sitting on my (and their teams') bench.
First year doing it, 4th in both leagues, but don't worry, this week will be awful for me. 3 byes and 3 international duty players.

The last two weeks have been bad for me. I'm also taking a -8 this week on extra transfers, so this is risky.
You do realize that you can use a wildcard once during the season and have unlimited transfers for that week? Might be a consideration for you.
