Maccabi Tel Aviv was eliminated before their Matchday 5 trip to Dinamo Kiev today. Dinamo Kiev took a 2-0 lead in the first 17 minutes with one of the goals being an own goal. Dinamo Kiev had a player ejected in the 47th minute and Maccabi Tel Aviv scored in the 49th minute. Then Dinamo Kiev had another player ejected in the 56th minute, Maccabi Tel Aviv tied it in the 62nd minute, and Maccabi Tel Aviv took the lead in the 75th minute. Dinamo Kiev equalized in the 81st minute while down two men and it ended 3-3. Maccabi Tel Aviv finished last in Group E with 0 wins, 2 draws (both against third place Dinamo Kiev), and 4 losses for 2 points.
