Just starting the thread for the Lil'B. After watching Ajax take on De Graafschap last week (8-1 Ajax), I'm not too enthusiastic about this match-up. Amsterdam looks strong, but hopefully the Frieslanders can pull through.

After last weeks thrilling 0-0 match vs. Tilburg, hopefully Heerenveen can muster some offense. Looks like Alves is on his way out, so he probably won't play.

On the other hand, Bradley has actually secured himself a spot in the starting line-up; more than all the other young YA's can say. So he should be playing, though the line-ups aren't out yet, someone else post em up.

Game's at 5:30A pacific, 8:30A eastcoastsnobs. TVants is up. http://www.myp2p.eu/Matches/Match5.htm

And now Vermaelen makes it 2-1 Ajax, with a headed goal off a free kick.

Ajax takes the lead with two goals in two minutes, right before the half.

A corner goes past almost everyone and to Suarez at the opposite corner of the box, and he places his shot well to make it 4-1.

Well, they are not playing Alves, so he is odds-on to be sold.

    The question is replacing him.

Ajax has done a good job replacing Schneijder with the currently available players. PSV has bought new strikers, in case Kone and Farfan are sold.

H-veen sold Nilssen and is likely to sell Alves but it hadn't gotten anyone of note to take their spot and there are only a few days left to make deals.

damn, Ajax looks good. They're like Juventus in Serie B, just beating up the competition. I'm ready to bet on the Eredivisie now.

I'm guessing he didn't get a yellow card, or there'd be people on here commenting for 3 pages about it.

He played well but was not able to make any offensive challenges of note due to heavy pressure from Ajax.

Bradley was rewarded with a 7 (out of 10) in the news paper "De Telegraaf" in the competition for the "Player of the Year"award for his performance.

By the way, Ajax keeps on bribing the referee, as Heerenveen should have been given a penalty kick after Stam torpedoed a Heerenveen attacker in the penalty box. Then it would have been 2 - 0 for Heerenveen.
