I don't know if this quote is real, but supposedly: "I will return to Rome when I'm ready to give that city, which I carry in my heart, deserved satisfaction. I don't know what that will be, a scudetto, a champions league, an Europa league, or an Italian Cuo trophy but I am sure I will return to Rome to coach. Roma is in my DNA, I feel Roman in my blood and I'm not like other coaches that want to close their career with a national team. I want to close out as Roma's coach."
Going from Zemen to Spalletti would be incredible. Two or three years under Zemen and they will be ready to compete at the highest level under Spalletti. When does his contract end with Zenit?
Zeman to Spalleti feels just as natural as pubic hairs at early teen years! can't wait! Spalletti... Voglio dare un bacio sulla sua testa pelata!!!
Haha that's an analogy and a half! 2 years of Bohemian football then Spalletti takes on Roma till his retirement? Erm yes please
I hope to see his baldy head back on the Roma bench in the near future.Let us remember our last Scudetto triumph,Zeman built the house and Capello finished it off.Now lets hope history repeats itself.
As I said when he was here, if we have suits who can get Luciano the players he wants, I would kayak across the Altantic, rent a car, and drive him from St. Petersburg to Rome.
I mean... Is Luciano really all that good? What has he really ever done? Nothing. He will never be what people says he will be. hmm I hope I fooled someone here I love Luciano hahahahahahaha <3
Luciano had the soul ripped from him after years of begging for some help in the mercato and dealing with our execs. Our first mercato with the new regime was miles better than any for nearly the last decade, which is really sad. Our current owners don't appear to have much more money (though they have much less debt...so far), but they are at least proactive. I would definitely have to prepare a speech to Luciano about not murdering half of the squad during training, but I would have plenty of time for that during my kayak trip.
Hopefully he doesn't murder them right away. I remember a physical therapist told me it's better to start off slow and progressivly get harder, otherwise you risk injury. But most coaches unfortunately do the opposite.
When I played we started at 100% and it went up to 120% to August then it cooled down a bit once the season started
