At the moment, I would go with Corona . Surprising because I thought Memo was going to be the easy choice after Oswango started sucking big time. I also liked Michel, but he has had a few bad games lately.

Lets take out Corona and place him in a team where there is real pressure, for more than just one game, and see how he fares..

I am not agaisnt him starting against El Salvador, though.

yeah, there was no pressure when he played a libertadores 1/4 final against boca in la bombonera and kept a clean sheet in both legs

I don't think players should be ruled out based on hypothetical psychological factors.

It doesn't make sense that playing on a club team would be a higher stress than playing on the national team. So you guys should stop trying to use this bullshit excuse if the guy you favor doesn't have unanimous support.

Aguirre stated he was not taking jerarquias into consideration.

The best man will win the job. The club's profile won't matter.

I agree....and Aguirre might very well give Corona his shot. Remember last time he went with who was playing great at the time (Conejo) even thought he wasn't really #1 on the depth chart when Aguirre took over. Conejo played well enough to not lose the spot going into the WC, so I think Aguirre seeing how well Corona is playing right now will give him his shot and will be on Corona to play well enough to not lose it. And I believe Adidas will be happy with Corona playing GK for Mexico, he is the only one that wears Adidas gloves/cleats.

I'm not sure that I believe Aguirre anymore. He may end up taking Asswalda.

My vote would go for Corona followed by Ochoa. At this time.
I believe Ochoa 's level has declined a lot, so I would like to see Corona play more to see how he handles the role at the NT.

Tecos dont play offensive football and is like last seasons Toluca, but they do defend like them. They send 3-4 players into the attack and see what happens.

I can see how Tecos can be labled defensive and how that would give Corona less work but he really does have the worse central defenders of the 3 mentioned.
