These short handed goals are really something special. Takes a serious commitment to pressure the puck with a man down.. Be nice to get a 2 game lead tonight before Halak comes back...
Sutter's going to have to address all these power play opportunities the Kings gave up. It could have been worse for them.

Apparently you were napping during all the short handed goals we've scored? taking dumb penalties is one thing... but taking penalties to let them know your not gonna be punked around is another, especially when you get them to send a guy to the box as well... By the way who is sutter??? our coach is bill murray Backes is going to eat ice in LA
Also, Halak is done for the entire second round... why is this good? Blues current goalie likes to just cover the puck... lots of goal zone face offs for the kings with snipers like Mitchell and Doughty at the points... also... halak was kind of a beast, not quickesque beast mode, but still a beast
I don't care who is the effing coach, he's going to have to address these power plays LA gave up in Game 2. They keep walking on a tightrope like this, sooner or later, they are going to fall off it.
Because the Kings are still in the postseason and my house is essentially a marathon and change away from Staples Center. I'll stop caring once the Kings are eliminated/win the Cup, at which I will be pouring my own glass of champagne. My Ducks remain, as of now, the only team from Southern California to have lifted the cup. I'll be either drinking to your team's demise or success.
do you guys have to poison every thread with the dislike you have for each other. you guys need to put each other on ignore. with that being said I don't mind what team you root for in the regular season as long as you root for the Kings now, they haven't gone this far in 11 years so I wanna enjoy the ride a little bit Thanks
St. Louis, at this rate, are going to be swept. They are playing some uninspired hockey right now and could be behind the 8-ball by Game 3.
I agree, went to games with my dad back in the GWF days when i was a kid. I'd love to enjoy it as well. Just something about the culture of this city and its eagerness to front run at any chance it gets. The problem for me, with the Kings, is that they have been my child hood team. I cried when Mcsorely got caught with the banana stick. I have a tony granato sweater. I remember hating the Mighty ducks movies. I know how passionate and loyal the Kings fan base is and I want to enjoy this with the TRUE Kings fans so much. Call me selfish, I don't care... if any of you happen to be in the 100's either thursday or sunday let me know... cold ones are on me
Like I said, I won't be surprised if St. Louis get swept for playing some uninspired hockey. Sunday could be the day.
Repped...It's been agonizing as a Kings fan over the years, especially when the Ducks won the Cup. That was unbearable to say the least. How was the game at Staples? It sounded crazy. Will have to try and make it to a Finals game. Yes, I said it, Finals game!
DUUUUUUDEEEE Staples was nuts last night. I'll say it til Im blue in the face. Kings fans are the best So Cal has to offer. Intelligent, passionate and energetic. Place was rocking. Would love to think we got in Elliot's head. One of my favorite things about Kings games is watching Kopitar skate. So big, skilled and graceful. Brought me back to the GWF days as a kid. HOCKEYWOOD IS BACK. Whats awesome is that King's are playing every game like it's a finals game, even for the last month of the reg season. the nucks and the blues just weren't prepared for such an inspired performance, out the gate, the Kings are punching everyone in the mouth. the forecheck is relentless, and what can you say about DUSTIN. So glad we didnt trade him...
