Wow. One of the few mistakes I've seen Bernardez make.

I've said this before, what's up with our team trying to be clever and head those high lofted balls instead of trapping them? It drives me mad to give up the ball that easily.

Lets hope we see him for the final half hour with Gordon, and starting Wednesday.

41' Victor gets a crunch in on Donovan that time and wins ball without foul.

I guess if Frank figures Dawkins is only fit for 90-120 minutes over 3 days, playing him more in the 2nd leg makes more sense. Corrales is the better defender.

47' Dunivant's cross sails just in front of Magee at the end of the half.

Not a great half for us, but we were decent moving the ball around.

Another 45 minutes of this result sounds fantastic right now.

Why the ******** do Chavez, Beita, Or Morrow not want to push forward? 3 touches max and then it's a square ball inside or backwards. Keep the ball in their end because being afraid to push up due to Keane and Donovan will just end up backfiring. You can be cautious, but not scared. We already saw that Gonzo's partner is flaky. Go out wide and get some crosses in.

For all the scary moments, we had greater possession. We just didn't do anything with it. No zeal to attack. It almost feels like Portland redux -- keep the defense high, and don't get hurt. But that card on Marvin was ridiculous, and that keepaway move from Muma could have turned into something pretty bad.

I was nervous about Corrales and rightly so. He needs to go, any possession or attack we have is killed by him. He may be a better defender but we can't attack up his side at all. Watch him go and get a goal or assist now . . . pleaaaaase prove me wrong.

Yeah, I think the hope is that LA will get frustrated and overextend.

He's moving the ball pretty well, I'd have to say. But yeah, he's not going to be breaking ankles with his moves.

Oh and by the way, couldn't they find a camera crew/director that knows something about soccer for the playoffs and beyond? When a player is dispossessed of the ball, no need to linger on his facial expression. We want to see where the ball goes!

The thing is with Corrales we can allow Morrow to push up and overlap him because Corrales can provide decent cover. He just needs to not be afraid to pressure Beckham.

Oh and can someone tell Beita to stop cutting in to his left foot. Look at Beckham he just pushes it wide right a bit and crosses it. Nothing fancy yet it works.
