Oh phenomenal knowledge. Do not set precedent. Vancouver did themselves no favors. F-ck'em. THere were bad calls both ways, and of COURSE LA got more calls because LA was doing 85 -95% of the attacking. You're not going to get a foul called when you're defending. Vancouver played like shit and it was very disheartening to see. I wanted to go to the game this weekend. OH well, RSL/Seattle next week.
It's currently 1-0, with LA given a gift penalty from a dive from Donovan. But I still think we can come back...can't wait for the game! Go Quakes!
Was supposed to be a joke that LA will get a similar penalty... I can imagine what people would say if Lenhart drew a similar penalty as Donovan.
No doubt they will. But a PK before the game starts is unprecedented. On the LA boards, they are calling us "whiners" for pointing out that they were gifted a goal in the Vancouver game. What's that line about engaging in a battle of wits with unarmed Galaxy fans?
Banning supporters looks cowardly, anyway. Let the ACB present themselves to the world as they see fit, that we may derive ironic comedic pleasure from such. Christmas comes early when we get to see Scum fans thrown out of our house and arrested .
"Fan Guide: Quakes face the LA Galaxy in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals" (SJEarthquakes.com - Saturday, 11/3/12) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Salazar is the referee most likely to caution Beckham (or any other Gals player) for using profanity. Not saying it will happen, but he doesn't seem to venerate everyone else's favorite Spice Boy.
Here I sit in my apartment in NYC, luckly they got electricity back on my block just in time! I am watching the HURRICANe out of this one! please beat the crapola out of LA... please. k thanks
Happy 100th birthday to Nonna Elena! Why will she only be watching the 2nd half? GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Perhaps knowing that today is the two-year anniversary of the following will keep her up to watch both halves of today's game. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
listen to this bullshit, and obvious statements meant to influence the ref! http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/11/04/sarvas-quakes-offer-some-kind-boring-football
Agreed. Donovon quote on the ref: " he “knows what kind of game San Jose plays. So I have no question he's going to take care of us.”
