From the BBC. The first one doesn't sound at all true, the second one, much more likely.

Weren't we allegedly in for Eto'o about 7 or 8 years ago? Don't see it happening.

Returning to the hairline discussion, I think Samba is a much better option than Cahill. The greater surface area on his head is an advantage in the air, Samba will do much more than Cahill to shore up set-piece defense, which has been pretty dismal the past few seasons.

Samba needs to go back to the regular cut

Doesn't have the swag to pull off the Mohawk, IMO

Cahill has a terribly boring hair cut, no comment from me

Please don't take the Barca lite crap that far. Just remember how you felt when 8-9 Barca players rushed the ref and got Van Persie sent off for "time wasting" when you guys were up 3-2 on agg in the 2nd leg with 40 freakin minutes to go! I even felt for you guys at that point.

The cap was raised - see a lot of threads running over 1k these days. We also haven't really had any witty titles proposed, so there is little incentive to start a new one.

What is going on with these signings/releases?!?! I'm so bored that the news of releasing players is now even exciting!

It's a guideline not an iron-clad requirement. But as Rewinder noted, if anyone wants to use their rapier wit to come up with a new title, I'll gladly shut this thread down.

....I've got some funny ideas about what sounds good.
    Better shut us down
    Better shut us down....

i have a feeling that the big "get" for us this summer is going to be gervinho. we shall see...

getting douglas costa would have made my weekend start off great.

what would make my summer is if we got Falcao or Cristian Zapata - but i doubt either will happen, as their fees are probably out of our budget...

If we sign Barton, Wenger should just retire from the sport altogether and live out his days in exile on a small island in the Pacific.

    Meh, I wouldn't mind Barton

    Better player than Parker

    And sometimes violence is necessary
