Mou didn't call Benz a cat. He was talking about the availability of players, where a lacking striker (Higuian) would be like hunting with a cat. If he had both his strikers available, it would be like hunting with a dog, which is obviously better.

I'de rather he rushed back, performed admirably, lead the team to a treble scoring/assisting in all our final games, proving the naysayers wrong and cementing his place and legacy with this team. Then I can call everyone (youngstar) out for it..you know if I could have it my way.

Wasn't he going to prove the naysayers wrong when we first signed him? When that didn't happen, then it changed to his 2nd season? Then after his injury? Then after finding his form back after his injury?

I wonder if he'll prove the naysayers wrong before my future children get into college.

In the end, whatever Mourinho did, he motivated Benzema to become the player he has become for us. Mourinho has his methods, and it seems his methods usually work. If they don't, then he knows what he can do with the player during the next transfer window.

I think we now know what we will be doing with Karim during the summer if he keeps up this form for the most of the rest of the season. We have Mourinho especially to thank for that.

That is terrible. He, in no way, earned anything close to that based on his playing/availability for us. Pisses me off, frankly. As does his attitude of seemingly not caring much to be at Madrid, not nearly as much as he did about playing for Brazil and AC Milan. It's rather typical of Brazilians, to be honest. They often consider playing for Brazil as the only thing that matters, and couldn't really care much about the club they play for (especially European clubs), nor have very much loyalty to it. I'm glad players like Roberto Carlos and Marcelo proved to be exceptions.

With that said, I don't hate Kaka or anything, and as long as he's on Real Madrid's roster, I'm going to hope the best for him. As long as he's here, I'll hold out hope that we can see some of that top-shelf play from him and he can help us win important matches.

He earns almost half of his wages from different deals he has with different companies.

Well that makes sense since I've seen him on many different commercials, ads, video game/magazine covers, etc. since he's been with us. It always confused me because he hasn't done too much in years, but that's how big of a star he is (and obviously more available due injuries lol). Anyways, it makes me feel better that R. Madrid aren't paying him all of that coin.

Two well taken COJONES penalties, a host of good dribbles, touches and passes (not to mention that side-of-foot throughball that gave Higuain a very viable 1v1)

Not to mention @ San Mames against the historical #3 Spanish team and also a historically difficult venue for ourselves to get a result in
