I'm with 4x4s on this one. Asking for Kaka to return his wages is ridiculous.

YS87 was obviously kidding. No one is demanding or expecting Kaka to return his wages. It is just frustration with his constant injuries, playing for Brazil despite being injured and thus risking his Real Madrid season, Going on vacation despite being injured and coming back in the pre-season only to be diagnosed on first day with an injury, his nonchalant appearance while on the pitch.

    This.

He obviously won't return his wages, however that is a piss poor counter. Higuain has actually worked hard with us and produced with us. Even if though he has gotten injured he has at the least earned his respect and stripes in our shirt. Kaka has not.

I so wanted Kaka to come to Real back in Calderon years, but this is really frustrating. He was not injured all the time here, yet never played very well, and also complained about being subbed and the like. Thank god we brought Oezil in.

all this negative energy and cursing is annoying...rather than showering negative vibes in this thread, why not some1 give an accurate update as to when Kaka will be fit....on March 9th, it said 15 days....so by now he should be back....lets no overwhelm him with criticism....he wasnt half as bad as people have made it out to be....he was impressive in games like Sociedad..and mourinho didnt give him enough playing time to prove himself........im sure u same clowns used to say the same about benzema...now what are u saying?????....it took a while...a hell of a while..in fact almost 2 seasons for him to come alive....but in the end he's making it

kaka is invaluable...he's a class act and a big game player..and he can make a huge difference to us in the UCL

He doesn't look invaluable to me.

True that. He has already made a big contribution to RM's CL progress - by staying off the pitch.

    Now breathe....

Go cry me a river. I doubt any professional athlete reads forums about his team/sport/himself, to avoid such criticism or over the top attacks. So I highly highly doubt Kaka is "overwhelmed" by the reasonable criticism of him here.

You use Benzema as an example but have forgotten that in January (or December?) Kaka was very critical of Benzema and criticized him to the media.

I guess what is good for the goose isn't good for the gander?

Oh and one last thing spare us the crying. Kaka has gotten a free ride with the media and us for that matter. They haven't been attacking him and trying to force him out like we've seen them do others. So just stop.

This. I know exactly how you feel.

Benzy is young, full of energy, has everything to prove, needs to win silverware and is on the learning curve. Kaka has lost his energy, losing his memory, has nothing to prove, already won many trophies and is getting old.

Do you see why being patient on Benz is justified?

It'll be interesting to see how Kaka performs in the reminder of this season. However, I wish him well and look forward to see Kaka back on the bench.

i guess im wasting my time here..i usually consider posters in forums as a bunch of jobless losers, who talk thru their arse to get attention and im indeed proven right...

the only reason i wrote here was to get an answer as to when Kaka's gonna be back cos none of the websites have it...guess i aint gonna get any luck here...so enjoy ur glory time here:)

    Ps-
wat has he done exactly playing so badly....has he missed sitters?...misplaced lousy passes?...i dont think so...he's hardly got any playing time...he's got 2 goals since he came back from the few mins he has got..and if ronaldo wasnt offside that wouldve been a fantastic assist (i cant remember the opposition)

We're jobless, when your the one with grammar issues?? Does full time education count as jobless? You make me laugh.......

Why are you questioning how bad he has played? Don't you see a colleration on how he's been performing? Which to be frank, is the reason why users here are flaming him.....it's logic.

The only person you're describing is yourself, hence why you think that way because it's all you know. You probably feel everyone is just like you and lives just like you, because you have never been exposed to more than what you currently are.

Why do you need to beg us for answers? According to you, we are just like you.... so wouldn't we be just as ignorant/stupid as you?

If I'm not mistaken, Kaka criticized Benzema's lack of effort and at the time the frenchman really looked like he couldn't be bothered.
The criticism was warranted and now Benzema is changed.

Anyway, Kaka shouldn't have said anything to the press.

He shouldn't have spoken to the press fullstop, simply put, he's not in a position at the club to be criticising a fellow player.

Whether it was warranted or not, Kaka really wasn't in a position to question anyone's effort or end product on the field. He should concern himself more with remaining healthy and finding some form and less with passing judgement on his fellow teammates.

It would be funny if Benzema now gave a response to the press that Kaka should work a little harder as he is not bringing what the fans are expecting of him. :D

He's lacking neither, but i don't think he accepts the situation his body is in with these injuries. That's only natural though, especially with a player on his level.

As i said, he doesn't have much of a long term future in the team, but i think he's a good fellow, and has been mostly respectful so far. I am not say that this would be enough for him to stay, but i don't think he is the villain people try to make him look like.

Re: Look To The Heavens - The Kaká THREAD [VOL3] [R]

I agree, don't understand why Kaka is being labled as a villain here. I stand by my opinion that Kaka has never lacked effort or commitment in his time here..which is why he might have felt comfortable to say at the time that Benz is showing a little less effort(if that is exactly what he said..i have a feeling what he actually said is different but..)

So for people to say he was in no position to say that, I disagree...end product and effort are two different things. Just because Kaka hasn't been lighting it up on the pitch doesn't mean he hasn't tried to, worked hard in training...played through pain and injury etc etc.

Just because we are all disappointed that Kaka has not been the Kaka we remember in his time with us "yet" does not mean we have to find everything negative about him and keep talking about the negative over n over again and don't even consider or hope for a positive future for him in Real Madrid

I think this more or less sums up my feelings.
Hugely disappointing not to have seen Kaka at his best in a Madrid shirt, because at his best he was a fantastic player.

Re: Look To The Heavens - The Kaká THREAD [VOL3] [R]

Yet no teammate has publicly criticized him, his poor performances or his many absences due to injuries. No teammate publicly criticized how he never reported injury until he finished vacation (in order to make a quicker recovery), no teammate was critical of how he seems to desire to give all to his national team but give us scraps.

The question isn't whether the criticism was warranted, it is why he felt the need to do so when his teammates did the exact opposite. The manager was doing his job (being critical of Benzema to the press), he didn't need his "co-coach" to aid him.

I wonder if some would defend him saying "the criticism was were warranted"? I doubt it.

    Here are the direct quotes....

Didn't Jose himself call Benz a cat when he needs a dog(or something similar) to the public...I know he is the coach and not a fellow player but to me that is much worse then what Kaka said...which both statements to me are just a means of encouragement.

The difference is that Jose is in a position to judge, he is the head coach and is having a pretty good season so far. Kaka on the other hand has barely played.

I read on AS or Marca the other day that Kaka is still among top earners in football. It was around 19M yearly iirc. I wonder if we get any piece of that cake. Did we get any of his image rights when we signed him?
