Something ironic about the only pictures of him in our kit are from last season .. :(

When he is expected back from his uber-individualist-training regime?

    I won't give up on him :)

Marca reported 15 days, but knowing Kaka that's probably more along the lines of a month. Seriously can we not just get shot of this guy?

I love him, as a man, and a player, but he's lost it. Not in the same way Benzema lost up until recent times, because it's fitness not form. He's lost his pace, and we have Ozil and Canales who can play in his position.

Why do these great Brazilians plummet when they get older?

Games like this (Hercules) where CR7 is injured is just the type of games he needs to step into his WPOTY shoes

    But then we have Oooooohzil

    GET BACK SOON RICKY

Mainly the attacking players. It's like they have two or three years of form then they go to being poor or a distraction.

    So many reasons.
Adriano and Ronaldinho became drunk bastards.
Robinho made a poor career decision when he went to Manchester City.
    Kaka was unfortunate with injuries.

Let's see what will happen with the new generation: Neymar, Ganso, Lucas and Pato.

Before looking to the heavens, he needs to look into the gym and get himself in shape.
    1 people repped this.

Neymar and Pato looks headed the Ronaldinho and Adriano route.

    Don't know about Lucas.

Now Ganso? That one right there has his head on his shoulders, he's going to be good too. Another I would absolutely love to have here and he's said many a time we are his particular preference. He looks like he'll keep his form as well as his class. Doesn't seem the type to become a screw up. Hopefully injuries won't get him like it got Kaka. :(

Ronaldo although may have come off the boil a bit, was a legend and plus he got two horrific injuries so he has a good reason for dropping in form. Plus i think the attention gets to their head i suppose, pointing out Ronaldinho and Adriano, whats so special about partying every night anyway?

Pato has one divorce already :D

Ganso is playing right now in his first game after his injury. Scored a goal and had several good plays already.

"Lifted the World Cup trophy: done"
    "WPOTY+ballon d'Or: done"
    "Champions League trophy: done"
"Make a ton of money: done"

Time to get back to Brazil and enjoy the lovely beaches, good weather and superstar status!

Apply to both Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and some extent Kaka

The moral of the story is, spend a fortune on European players.

No matter how injured/old he gets, he still has that killer playmaker ability, not to mention vision and first touch ..

I hope he gets back soon, I won't give up on him unless he officially leaves or retires >_<

^ Too bad he has not been able to demonstrate in the vast majority of the matches he played for Real Madrid.

^ What a strange thing to say considering that the player in question is among the highest paid players at the club but simultaneously the lowest contributing. His class means nothing if he is not offering the club anything on the pitch.

Too bad we actually need that form more than his class right now

I can't believe Real Madrid sold Sneijder and got Kaka. Seeing him play today made me feel sad.

Perhaps that works best in computer games :p

I always pick Kaka in FIFA and Pro Evo, I wouldn't pick him in real life...

    :p

What I mean is the 2007 WPoTY is still there, somewhere .. within that fragile body ..

That needs fitness, then he will be back to his best :p

Re: Look To The Heavens - The Kaká THREAD [VOL3] [R]

"This is the flaw of the FIFA generation: they cannot understand that these players not only serve different functions in the manager’s tactical schema but also cannot understand the small-scale fluctuations in form and inter-player footballing relationships that would lead to a manager benching a “superior” player in favor of an “inferior” one.

"They can’t understand why Mourinho would keep playing Sami Khedira (another example), over other players because FIFA doesn’t reward positional defense and schematic, tactical defensive midfield play. They see Lass Diarra’s work rate, his pressure, his strong challenges and cannot fathom why this player would not start over the obscure, hard to place Khedira.

What Mourinho has in Khedira does not translate on to FIFA—a player who fits his tactical diagram perfectly, a strong positional defender who calms play down without making flashy tackles. I’m not saying that Lass isn’t fantastic or even a great player to have on the pitch—I’m just trying to explain why Khedira has started a majority of Madrid’s games this season"

Also thought the above was interesting, though most of us are aware of this on the board.

    I use DM's in my games =p

TBH I find the author abit patronising, I think most football fans play videogames purely in a fantasy sense, while understanding the real life intricacies of form/fitness/injuries/momentum etc (i.e. not many people are _actually_ saying remove Ozil for Kaka ..)

    I like :)
