As a tennis player, this guy's always been a hero of mine. Loved his playing style and enthusiasm for the game. Shame he isn't as good as he used to be but I still love him. Anyone else here ever a fan of Hewitt?

Once again, I apologize if this is a remotely pointless thread.

I've got a love hate relationship with the c'mon man.

Sometimes he wins me over, but then he wrecks that with his carry on. But, he's the best we've got at the moment in Aussie men's tennis, so we have to support him. ;)

Amen to that! I think he's a prick.

Other than that, as el-capitano says, he's the only great male tennis player that Australia has at the moment.

I'm not sure that anyone really cares. That's one of the beauties of living in Australia, if one thing doesn't work out then something else will. Hewitt had the ability but his physical strength simply wasn't up to it. Australia see's other sports as more important anyway. Living in Melbourne (even if it is Springvale) you should know this first hand.

Ormond is one of those Eastern burbs type Box Hill, Carnegie, Murrumbeena places isn't it? Good ol' suburbia.

As long as you're happy. I could never live away from the ocean.
