bah Suso almost made it 2. What a half from him though, deserves his first goal.

Impressive half...everyone was solid. Unfortunate to see Wisdom get hurt though...hopefully its just a minor knock

He didn't look in major pain but I imagine that BR has them all under notice that he'd rather they came off if there is a knock given the depth of the squad right now. Rather have him off and fix him than play and make it worse.

The Young Boys fans held up a banner in the first half saying 'In memory of Hillsborough'. Nice touch, respectful to say the least and Anfield liked it.

And it was a nice joe cole one-touch pass that put Suso clean through on that. What is happening out there???

So far so good! 1-0 at HT. Could have scored another couple, with Cole/Skrtel and Suso missing decent chances, and Henderson drawing a save. On the other hand they've missed a few chances too, so happy to be leading.

Joe Cole misses a chance and then we get punished for it and concede! This keeps happening, our failure to finish keeps costing us. Now let's see if we can score again.

And then Rodgers pulls him for Suarez. Head-scratcher for me.

Props to Joe Cole...scores the go-ahead goal and sure as hell deserves it. He's played well today.

Never mind. Rodgers is a genius. Cole with and assist, at least three key passes, and a potential game winner if the scoreline stands. That was a great turn and shot on the goal.

Sahin has played well deep with some nice passes and tackles.

He looks much better by himself as a DM in an offensive midfield triangle. We saw that against Wigan too.

Yet again we give away another equaliser after failing to hold onto a lead. FFS.

Throwing away a lead twice. Just like we threw away a lead against Udinese. Rodgers showing his naivety in Europe by not closing out a won game.

Missed all but the last 20 minutes and we seemed completely shorn of creativity. How were the first 70 minutes?

There seems to be a pattern to the goals we concede, isn't there? We lose the ball around the opposition box, our central midfield wave their runners through and Reina inevitably gets done from outside the box. There seemed to no balance in midfield-- Sahin and Gerrard were regularly being over-run and, criminally, seemed a step slower than YB's effervescent trio-- and the sooner we get a player who can actually break up opposition attacks the better.

The problem was the idea of bringing Sterling on after Cole scored. Should have changed the sub and brought in Allen

Joke Hole and Suso our best players and they were taken off. Shelvey had a good match.

Well we either beat Udinese or that's another competition we are out of. Hope the manager learns from this

By the way, another 15 corners without looking remotely like scoring a goal. Do we even work on them?
