They might be a weakness for Kate Ceberano, but lets hope we can seal another win at home and help our progression through the group. :)

Expecting Sahin, Shelvey and Suso to stake claims towards the first team in this game. Henderson played well enough to start next week against Swansea unless one of the three above can make themselves undroppable on Thursday.

One of either Yesil or Morgan to be the Young Boys being talked about after we win the game.

Not sure I can get this, I may be on the road....But I will read your reports afterwards, some time.
No fair with the..."He shouldn't have done that" or "Oh my god" comments. Enquiring minds need to know, the full story.

We're at home on a European night in Anfield. I expect no less than a confidence building win.

    Oh the horror!

Depending on the feast here in the USA I may see this live or on DVR. Seems we have had a slightly late start with the cooking

We need to win this, if we care about Europa still.

So, does a joe cole start mean that we don't really care about the EL?

Well stop posting and get cooking! I'm sure there are some potatoes you could be peeling. ;)

I just threw our bird on the ol' smoker. It's slowly turning into a rust bucket but she still churns out solid BBQ every time. I smoked my first turkey seven Thanksgivings ago and this one may be the last for awhile, sad to say, but it really is my favorite way of preparing it (with apologies to you fans of deep-fried turkey).

Heading over to the feast after our game. I could get used to LFC on Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there who celebrate it (read: not El-Cap ;) ). Stay safe and remember to appreciate what ya got. Like, um, Joe Cole. :D

LBdottir is our chef and she does not tolerate any interference. I will watch when I am allowed. Our menu is a free range turkey fed an organic grain mix with no hormones, dressing with roast butternut squash and dried cranberries reconstituted in brandy, classic green bean casserole, roast sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes with roasted garlic made from organic Yukon golds, jalapeño corn bread, and choice of pumpkin or apple pie. I only have a few sous chef responsibilities like making gravy and buying the brandy.

    Reina
    Wisdom - Skrtel - Carragher - Downing
    Sahin - Henderson
    Shelvey
    Suso - Cole - Assaidi

Subs: Jones, Enrique, Coates, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez

No recognized striker on the pitch, so the formation is just my take. Pretty strong bench, obviously BR wants a win to go on to the next round.

@LFC: #LFC team v Young Boys: Reina, Wisdom, Downing, Carragher, Skrtel, Suso, Sahin, Henderson, Assaidi, Cole, Shelvey.

@LFC: #LFC subs v Young Boys: Jones, Enrique, Coates, Gerrard, Allen, Sterling, Suarez.

I actually like this lineup sans cole. I wonder if we'll go 5-3-2 with downing and hendo as wing backs, or if hendo will sit behind Suso and sahin with shelvey, cole, and assaidi in the front three?

I feel badly for Pacheco. He should definately be ahead of cole in age, potential and merit, to name just a few.

Thanksgiving dinner done. Slice(s) of pumpkin pie next to me. TV remote in hand and ready to go!

Then Joe Cole shows up with a ****** in his hand to ruin it. How many chances will he get?

Nice backheel from Shelvey to Hendo, who made a good run and forced a nice save from the keeper.

Gerrard appears to be coming on for some reason. Hopefully he takes Cole off.

    JOKE HOLE TO JONJOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    1-0

What a goal, Suso played a flawless ball into Cole, who had just finished his smoke, and props to Joe, who played a lovely cheeky chip/cross to Shelvey who headed it home. Well done Reds!

If there are any Joe Cole fanboys (which I highly doubt) I'm just kidding about the smoke break and the Joke Hole thing. He's actually playing alright. He appears to be out of breath however haha

Well I wasn't expecting Joe Cole to create one as tidy as that for Shelvey to finish off on the line!

And man, Suso is a beast in the CAM position. The difference between him playing behind the striker and on the wing is quite visible.
