Not that it needs any mention but we can gain points on that "club" on the other side of Stanley Park! What more incentive do they need?:whistling:

Sturridge willna be 100%, so the idea of Borini, who has only played 17.64 minutes in weeks, partnering Sturridge makes little sense.

I don't think Sturridge is fit, so Birini and Suarez may start up front.

Looks as if Sturridge will be held out according to the Echo.

8 (Read eight) days is just too long between matches.
So they make up for it and have us play on Thursday while the rest of the EPL played over the weekend...???

I wonder if Borini starts due to Sturridge's injury, or if BR goes with Sterling and Downing.

I'd be happy to Shelvey get a run out, even with the EL coming up. Wonder if Brendan will slot him on the wing and still have Hendo at the top of the triangle or let Hendo get a rest for this one and bring in Borini/Sterling/Downing for the wings.

How kind of Rodgers to provide a litmus test for Shelvey tonight, considering the conversation in the transfer thread ;)

    :)

Always be ready, my old man used to say and used to quote this from the good book: "... if the house-owner knew the hour in which the burglar would come ..."

Subs: Jones, Wisdom, Skrtel, Allen, Borini, Sterling, Coutinho.

Coutinho on the bench but is Allen in the dog-house?

Yeah well I'm not a believer in carrying arguments from other threads over, so if Shelvey does well today I'm not gonna be smug about it, and I'd expect the same from the guy in the heated argument with me if he does poorly.
