Lior Asuilin of Beitar Jerusalem is cleared to play for the NT, eventhough he did not finish his military service for the state of Israel. The Diciplinary board of the IFA has allowed the player to play for the NT, eventhough the rules state that he must finish his military service in order to play for the NT. Lior was exempted on the basis of having personal issues and thus he is allowed to play for the NT. This is really good news for the NT, who will play Ireland and Switzerland away shortly and Grant needs to start to call up players, and it would be nice if grant calls asuilin to the line up. In other news, Davidovitch played in net for Bnei Yehuda and played fairley (?) well, eventhough Maccabi Haifa tied B. Yehuda 2-2 in the Schuna.
Re: Asuilin cleared to play for NT asuilin is a very good player and will contribute to the NT, thats for sure
Re: Asuilin cleared to play for NT Thats what the NT needs infact...someone who can score and be infront...the games against Ireland and Switzerland are up, and if Asuilin can be in shape and prove himself, he can be rewarded with his first and possibly his 2nd cap... He does a great job in Beitar!
Re: Asuilin cleared to play for NT So lets just wait and see what grant decides to do with him. Can anyone me if Alberman can play for the NT? isn't he on the u-21 team?
Re: Asuilin cleared to play for NT He does play in the U21 team, no? Im getting mixed up with Shlomi Arbeitman who plays for Petach Tikva. He has 1 cap for the seniors NT, when he did a brilliant job vs. Azerbijian.. As for Alberman, i have to check, but im pretty sure he plays for the U21. So if you wonder why the U21 is good, i guess its because of him!
