I go on the front page of Yahoo(US), I look to the right, and Leo is trending right now(he is at #3). Just wondering if there was something that was going on.

I will leave you guys with that worthless bit of news.

Whoever Lio's trainer him that got him to bulk up so much, Pastore needs to hire him right away.

Yeah, flaco is one thing, but the kid looks like starvin' Marvin right now. 10 pounds of muscle could only enhance his game, I think.

Two more goals for Messi and he already equalled Laszlo Kubala as Barca's second highest scorer ever.

Here is Messi and his goals with Barcelona. It only goes up to 61, I am guessing the guy will finish the other parts later.

Leo for his own sake needs to rest some games and go off when the job is done in others.

All this football will catch up with him sooner or later. He is not superman.

A little off topic but did you read that some journalists traced Messi's lineage and found him to be Bojans cousin thru their great grandfathers?

Well, lets put it this way. You can link up nearly anybody with anybody. Obama is related to two former Presidents. He is also related to some royal family members as well. They are distant cousins. If you look at all the US Presidents being related you would actually think it's a monarchy rather then a democratic republic.

In the terms of Messi and Bojan, my guess would be that Bojan mothers grandfather. Bojan's father side is from Yugoslavia. Messi's bloodline comes from Italy, wit the sur-name of Messi(Probably comes from the southern Italian city of Messina). His mothers maiden name is Cuccitini so I am guessing Bojan's mother side is Italian and gallego.

don't be so quick to dismiss that thought!!!

The fascinating thing is not the relation but rather where they find themselves.

I believe he is a global figure but some of the names on that list is a flat out joke. Wasn't Biber or whatever his name on it last year? Kim Kardashian? I mean seriously.

Lets not forget who has won those awards, a certain Hitler, Stalin 2X, Khomeini,Deng Xiaoping 2x, recent times Bush(GW) 2X,Putin and the face of all evil Zuckerberg.

This time around, I think it will go to Steve Jobs.

Oh, I know how it works! No big shocker!

Yeah it's strange how things work. I have a journal I wrote a few years ago about my family tree, I went as far back as my great-great grandparents.

Regardless of what kind of people Hitler and Stalin were, they won wars and conquered countries, messi can't even get 25,000 to show up at el monumental, even bieber had a bigger audience no more than a month ago :D:D

Who cares about the Time Award. Peopled by talentless mediocrities.

People of real worth like engineers , architects and scientists , great composers, writers and so on always get overlooked in the news because their mugs are never in the media spotlight.

A certain chap died a couple of years ago for instance. He pioneered antio angiogenetic drugs which basically put work to stop a tumour acquring a blood supply and increasing its mass.

His work has saved countless lives. Did he get a mention in the news . Hell no.

Meanwhile a soap actress here passed away and we have a full four minutes of the national news occupied by it.

Steve Jobs passed away and fair enough he deserved some acclamation. Did you know Dennis Ritchie had passed on though ? Because he wasn' there in the glare of the media circus he passes rather quietly into that good night......
