Strasbourg had over 13,000 attendance for its last home match,

Kinda funny to me because those last years in Ligue 1 they didnt really average much more than that (over 15-16k)

RCS is drawing surprisingly well, but the alsatians have always had a perverse streak. they might be motivated by the fact that they're crushing all CFA2 attendance records, or it could be that vesoul is kind of a derby. the ice bowl.

Red Star 93 is now mathematically safe from relegation which I'm pretty happy about. Of course as with all lower division French teams, they could always potentially get relegated due to "poor finances" so its not like you can breath easy. Still, hope they get a new manager and can start a serious climb towards L2 next year.

Meanwhile, Strasbourg can go up to the CFA with a win next weekend.

Reims beat Monaco 2-0 yesterday, now six points clear from 4th with two games to go, looks pretty safe to be promoted to Ligue 1 after their 30 year exodus.

Marco Simone got canned. Im pretty surprised considering what a good job he did. They must have something up their sleeve over there. Hard to think a good coach would want to manage in Ligue 2.

It seems that a lot of times the top scorer in L2 will get poached by another team but not this time since its a guy on a team that will be promoted. Plus 15 goals in a low number. I hope L2 isnt as defensive as L1 is.

Please dont let this rumor be true. The guy is 64. He's probably just wants the massive paycheck. Bring back Marco Simone.
