I agree with having a domestic cup to help the second division teams but I still think we need to participate in Libertadores, otherwise how will the 'liga premiere' be able to prove it's 'premiere' where top talent should want to/need to play.

The Libertadores is the best competition that Mexican teams can possibly play in. Don't kid yourself, the CCL and CONCACAF will never reach its level.

Exactly. So these people here saying "we won't win it anyway" or "we've been doing poorly in it anyway" need to STFU. It's better to address the reffing bias against us, and continue to play in it, rather than just pull out of it like a bunch of quitters.

Quite frankly, I'm glad the rest of CONCACAF is crap. I'd rather not be threatened up here, and instead improve our level through other means. Hopefully this is just a ploy by Decio, but he doesn't seem to be that smart.

Decio is the source. Depends on your confidence in his reliability.

I really hope people pack stadiums for Copa Mexico. how do people feel about having Campeon de Campeones? I guess it wasn't really structured well since it has a tumultuous history of getting done away with and then reinstated again. then again it has produced some really good games

Que regresa el gol de visitante como primer criterio de desempate, luego la posición en la tabla. [IMG]

    Here are some bits

I wonder if the Mexican refs can challenge that with Concacaf or FIFA?

If they blow an outsides call, who pays? the ref, the lineman, both?

I would think the refs could take it up with the FMF first. The Liga MX exists outside of FMF even though FMF is providing the refs, right?

Well, those fines better be damn small at least from what I've gathered the salaries of the refs for the most part are small. How are they gonna pay if they get fined 1 month's salary? Oh wait, fines are based on minimum wage, right? OK what if they get fined 100 days of minimum wage?

Two games on Friday? I like. I still think they need a good game on primetime on Monday or Sunday.
