LOL. Well, Santos won. On the issue of Colombian food: Pibe, I've seen photographs of some very exotic fruits from Colombia that are not available in Brazil. Can you provide a link that details native fruits of Colombia? Being from Brazil, I'm a fruit lover.
I didn't get to see the game, so I don't know how pasto played, at least they didn't lose by much, I expect them not to be that lucky in Brazil... about the fruits, yea man, I'll look for a nice page that has all of them. I love fruits, when ever I'm down there I eat the most I can, cause up here you can't find them here either. [off topic] here is a page from the UK, they import exotic fruit from Colombia, very nice pictures and descriptions. I love Jugo de Maracuya, its the best, the fruit as a whole is a nice blend of sweet and sour and if you put sugar on it, it taste very nice. When it hits your tongue, it "wakes up" your taste buds. http://www.oakleaf-european.co.uk/colombia.htm another: http://www.ocati.com/

BRACKETS FOR THE NEXT ROUNDS: Caracas X Santos América X Colo Colo Cúcuta X Toluca Nacional X Necaxa Defensor X Flamengo São Paulo X Grêmio Paraná X Libertad Boca Juniors X Vélez Sarsfield
Although Brazil is well-represented in the second stage (other than a certain southern squad who crapped in its pants), I think that it's hard we'll have a 3rd consecutive all-Brazilian final. 4 Brazilian teams are in the same side of the bracket, and one is guaranteed not to reach the quarterfinals. Personally, I think that Flamengo and SPFC are likelier to reach the final than Gremio or Parana, but that's not taking anything away from the latter teams. Gremio might well shock SPFC, but I consider SPFC a technically superior team. As for Parana, bravo for their efforts, but can they overcome a very consistent Libertad squad? I have my doubts. Santos, in my honest opinion, is the top Brazilian contender this year. They won all 6 games, and have a relatively "easy" road to the final. They will have home field throughout the tournament, and while there are strong teams on their side of the bracket, I only see Nacional of Uruguay as a team that has a chance to derail them.
SPFC and Flamengo will most likely face off in the next round, so I think the winner of that game will end up reaching the finals. Santos just lost to São Caetano, but I believe it can reach the finals as well. But, they will have a lot of difficulty with any tough opponents.
I agree that SPFC and Flamengo will very likely meet in the quarterfinals, and if that occurs (I think Gremio will be tougher than Flamengo's first-round opponent), Flamengo will enjoy home field, but SPFC has the advantage of more Libertadores experience. As for Santos, I still think they are almost a lock to reach the final. They are an overall more solid team than they were in 2003 (Robinho and Diego were phenomenal, but they were inexperienced).
AHAHAH HAHAH mae dina you better go back to your day job! spfc could not beat a team that had just left SEGUNDONA!! o brother!! ahahah sp this flamengo that? I did mention to all of you that you guys were not going too far. And all of that to a team whos' last big win was against some SEGUNDONA team, I smell another dvd, batalha dos aflitos 2 god have mercy
LOL. Still pissed for his team pissing in their panties at home vs. Nacional (and at home vs Velez, vs. Velez at Velez, vs. Nacional at Nacional)....
c'mon centuryquadrupede, your team can't beat a SEGUNDONA like gremio, I guess Porto Alegre is not the best destination for spfc, no luck in the south at all
First round... *CHOKE* Just like France in 2002. But then, you and Louis will insist your team is still the champion. I guess France was still the champion until Cafu lifted the caneco. Never mind they were no longer in the running... just as ur team hasn't been in the running for a few weeks now.
century's quadrupede, What are you talking about. You still lost to us last year. You are just bitter. ahahahahahahaha san pablo
Your team is the one who was macho enough to get past the first round and yet YOU accuse others of bitterness? LOL.
What a ludicrous argument. Gremio is not a second division team right now. They finished in 3rd place in last year's Brasileirao. BTW, nice choke vs. Botafogo a few days ago. The perfect way to follow up on crapping in your panties in the .... first round.
Once segundona, always segundona! Last time gremio beat anapolina they made a dvd!! ahahaha now it's your turn. As for Inter despite being runner up last year and winner in 05 we didn't won a single opening game in Brasileirao for the past decade so nothing new there. Wait till the cup get's going. You will see us, on the top as usual.
And you also didnt win a single Brasileirão in these 10 decades. By the way, in which division does Veranópolis play again?
ohh so you are a spfc fan that side with the stolen 2005 brasileirao? U might be CUrintiano after all.
Colorado_Gaucho and SoccerScout are the most annoying forumers on this board. I dont understand how the moderators get along with these guys.
Moderatores are not here to get along with people, they exist to mediate and control the forum guidelines. Do judges have to get along with people on a courtroom? They might not like the defenders, yet they must provide a fair judgment and maintain a fair result in all procedings. A judge that get's along with people is a horrible judge. He will not be able to provide a fair decision because he let's his emotions get the best out him. They should rule equally for all independent of likes and dislikes. Especially on the personal level. If they can't, they shouldn't be moderatores. Dura lex, sed lex, it's a b!tch so man up and live with it. You sound like a girl.
