Awesomeness. It would be even better if I owned a TV... last time I had cable, it was solely for Liverpool matches.
http://www.theonion.com/articles/area-man-constantly-mentioning-he-doesnt-own-a-tel,429/ I actually don't have cable either these days, but I'm hoping the iPad app in combination with a friend's DirecTV account will get me most games live. Also planning on getting down to the 11th St. Bar for most games (which ends up costing quite a bit more than cable, of course).
Question for the App users: Does it allow you to play on a TV through Apple TV? I guess a work around would be if you streamed directly to the phone/pad from the NBCSN website and watched through AppleTV like you can do with LFCTV and not go through the app.
They have a phone app and you can simply use the toggle to enter the appropriate port on your TV. It certainly helps if you have wi fi and aren't using 3G
I guess that would work as well. I'll have to see if/how they upgrade it, but based on recent reviews I've found, it doesn't appear that the App supports Airplay through Apple TV, so some other method would be necessary.
I just found out that Guinness has high fructose corn syrup in it. Ruined my pint. I'll have to go with something else from now on at the pub.
No doubt - can't beat the atmosphere of 11th St. Gimme a heads-up when you make your next trip up here.
