Yeah, We play like we did against Vietnamn in AFC,every player think they are ronaldo...They should pass more and get closer to the goal to finish
Decent enough win, 1 point from the next two games should be easy meat. Would be nice to beat the Saudis in the final game though to make it sweeter
I hope we trash both kuwait and sudie! Iraq 11-0 Sudie haha Anyway, When does Iraq play against Azerbajan and Iraq U20 against Saudiarabia?
Don't worry, Saudi game will be about two hours before Azerbaijan. We'll have enough time to watch both.
AFC U-20 Cup Qualifying round In Abril,Iraq [R] Anyone Heared That The Iraq (Under 20) National Soccer Team Is Playing In Abril,Iraq (Played) Iraq VS India 5-0 (Iraq Won) (Played) Iraq VS Oman 2-0 (Iraq Won) (Played) Iraq VS Afghanistan 3-0 (Iraq Won) November 12 (Iraq VS Kuwait) November 15 (Iraq VS Saudi Arabia) That Is All The Games Going To Get Played
Re: AFC U-20 Cup Qualifying round In Abril,Iraq [R] Yep, we are discussing this in another thread. Merged
IFA asked the AFC to change the time of the game between Iraq and KSA so people can attend it. Last time the reply was negative, not expecting much this time either.
Was it someone els then me who watched the match? (Iraq-Kuwait) Why was there some people fighting with the cameraman? in the second half?
First Half was an open match, with some advantages for the Saudis. They had two very dangerous chances, while we had a goal cleared off the line. Second Half was dominated by Iraq, they took the lead with a beatiful goal and doubled it with another beauty. Third goal was penalty in injury time. To the finals, without a single goal conceded. However we still have to improve if we want to reach the WC in '11. Asian teams like Japan, Korea, Australia or Iran (U16 Champs, beat Holland at the WC) will be tough.
Woow what a match! This win is sooo Sweat! Iraq-sudie 3-0! Nr 9 and 19 will be the new stars in the Iraqi NT
Sounds like a good win, I just got up there because I stayed up to see Manny v Cotto (what a fight!) Anyways, will check the goals later and catch what I can of the national team. Edit here are the goals: Number 1 - http://www.football-iraq2.org/2009/AFC-Erbil-2009/Round5/Iraq_1-0_KSA.wmv Number 2 - http://www.football-iraq2.org/2009/AFC-Erbil-2009/Round5/Iraq_2-0_KSA.wmv Number 3 - http://www.football-iraq2.org/2009/AFC-Erbil-2009/Round5/Iraq_3-0_KSA.wmv Was Amjad Waleed emulating Tim Cahill's celebration there? LOL Good win though, no goals conceded in qualifying. I can see this team going far!
