Schneiderlein isn't that good. We need to aim higher at DM. I'm still hoping for either Bender.

They need to...oh wait, I forget Arsenal's higher-ups have no guts to challenge Wenger to changing his ways.

If you want to know who we should sign, ask yourself would he be a Chelsea, United, or City target.

    Schneiderlin? not so much

Is Schneiderlin the French Scott Parker?

Realistically what could we really expect from this transfer market? I mean we keep seeing the mythical £100 million thrown around, what does that really get you? The whole thing is so opaque I'm just expecting 3 no names and 1 marque signing and 1 WTF signing with a roughly 50% success rate going forward

Could really use a Diaby... one that can play obviously.

Serious question. If Wilshere doesn't develop are we stuck with him?

There aren't any other Diaby's. He's that special. That's what makes this thing with him so awful. :(
Nah. He's English. There are dozens of teams who would pay good money for him.

I'm not worried, though. I think he'll come good.

I still remember the game at Anfield two years ago. I thought then that if he stayed healthy, he'd be the best midfielder in the league that season. I still think so: his combination of size, pace, athleticism and technique is absurd, and his weaknesses were those that could only be addressed by actually playing the game. Take a look at this goal, during a season where many (including myself) were slating himself as useless:

He starts this off with a Cruyff-turn through a defender's legs, then gallops 50 yards, makes an almost perfect run, and finishes so cooly that you almost forget how ridiculously good this goal is. I mean, holy shit.

That's the problem with Wilshere: he's English. He needs to STFU and just play the freaking game. I still think he's better technically than Ramsey, but Ramsey's game is so incredibly intelligent that Ramsey's ten times the player right now. I mean, Wilshere's never in the right place without the ball, and since there's a world cup on this summer, I fear that we won't really seem him improve this facet of his game next season.

That, and Wilshere still hasn't shown any capacity to use his right foot at all.

He is undoubtedly a great talent and it is a shame that his career has been going down the drain with these endless injuries.
There is a small part of me that hopes he can come back and fulfill all the expectations (againts all odds). That may be wishful thinking though. A Ramsey-Diaby combo in MF would be a sight to behold.

Different sources are reporting this morning that Sagna is close to resign with Arsenal.
Excellent news. He is back at his best and deserves to stay.

PS. I still would not mind to get Serge Aurier. He would be a more than adequate back up for Sagna and can play as a RMF of a Central Defender as well. (Jenks should go on loan).

This sounds about right. One player where we all say "yay!", one player where we all say "okay, that's fine" and a player or two where we say "who?" or "why?"

I would much rather have Serge Aurier at this point and I think, based on the amazing tube videos, I'd rather have him be the starter and let Sagna back him up.

I'm quite sick of watching Arsenal break and counter, only for it to end up out wide for Sagna to either put in a horrible cross or simply pass it back. Sagna cannot attack opposing fullbacks or wingers. How often do you see Sagna driving into box? Gibbs has been doing this magnificently for us on the left. We're missing that element on the right.

Aurier looks to be a great attacking full back.

Keep in mind how good Sagna is at center back. Personally, I'd be fine having him third choice centerback/first choice right back.

Given Jenkinson's contract length, I have to think he'll play much more next year.
