Circular but I feel you're too harsh on Rooney as a #9 (not 10!). Hes been very good up front. Id be OK with RVP too, just not both. Liverpool and City make it work with their strikers because theyre pacy and can get by people.
Yeah doing some weak ass 1/4 squats which are going to do nothing but stress his extensor mechanism (possibly causing inflammation and injury) and not make his leg stronger or his knee more stable.......it seems that everyone approaching his fitness is a total moron from us to Holland. You have to go below parallel for squats to be functional on any level and "ass to grass" if you want major results. This isn't even arguable if you know anything about fitness, body function, and building strength/mass.
No argument here. I've been lifting seriously for about 7 yards now. Still shake my head when guys at the gym load up the bar and don't squat below parallel.
Not if you have proper hip flexibility. People that hurt their knees going ass to grass are the ones that have bad hip flexibility and round their lower back and/or are too far forward.
Bullshit. The ACL, PCL and collaterals are not loaded at all when squatting with proper form. Squatting shallow is far more likely to blow your knee because the loading is placed on the joint, not all systems in the he body at depths of 90 or less. The relationship of the tibia and femur in the squat and the tissue that connects them is genetically designed to go well past 90 while significantly loaded.
Or they don't know their limits and tip over while they are in the hole because too much weight is loaded or too much volume training has already taken place and they fail. This is all assuming they have good form to start with....aka probably not a CrossFit retard.
I'm perhaps the only non-addict male in Scotland who can comfortably fit into 28" skinny jeans with room to spare. Although once this flat is finished and I have more time I'll need to get back into a routine again.
Box squats are the only exception to this. They are extremely beneficial to athletes and have a higher rate of explosive muscle development than traditional squats.
Not sure...found that on Twitter. BBC has a great group in the studio though. Every time I watch ESPN all I can think is, how the ******** does Alexi Lalas still get to talk on TV.
Van Persie praises van Gaal on Dutch tv. 'The match went exactly how the technical staff predicted would go.'
Not really that controversial an opinion. He looks off. Partially due to no preseason, but that excuse does run out at a point. Some people thought his substitution this weekend was a sign of the times. That maybe Wilson would get more minutes from here on out. I don't read so much out of it, to be fair.
