To this day, I couldn't tell you what the song is about, but the music is very well written. BTW, the Eagles' catalog is among the most well-crafted and musically pristine in pop history. This is why Americans make jokes about soccer fans- you can't sling a dead cat at an MLS game without hitting some vegetarian hipster in an earth-toned shirt, Buddy Holly glasses and peach fuzz that took him a month to grow. NO other sport encourages that bunch.

They could have simply ruled that the 'anti-sharia' law applies equally to all theocratically inspired regulation and thrown out the Christer-sharia as well. Imagine the scouring of Oklahoma laws to remove Christer-sharia. Ill bet they would repeal that amendment right quick.
