Leicester City won 2-1 against a second rate Blackpool side. Leicester played without a few first team players, but still enjoyed much of the run of play. Blackpool did get a goal from Parker in the second half to tie the game, which came out of no where. I went because the tickets were a little cheaper then league games. Personally paying 17 or 27 pounds is far too much for me, and not really worth it. I would much rather go to the local non-league side. With that being said, I will probably go to a few more Leicester games this fall.... just not all of the time.
It's a shame Hume was cup-tied, the Blackpool game could have been the perfect opportunity for him to start a game. However he'll probably start on Saturday now, should be interesting...
Yeah, being Canadian, I would have loved to see Hume in the game. Perfect opportunity for him. However, I see that he is listed as a possible starter for the game against QPR tomorrow. Hopefully he does get the start. Big game against QPR, and then again on Tuesday against Brighton (I think).
There's been a lot of talk this week (including from the club) about Hume possibly starting tomorrow. Where there's smoke, there's usually fire, so I'd guess he'll be in the starting 11. QPR fans seem very discontent with the way their team is playing. I suppose both teams are due for a breakout, but I'd be surprised if it's anything more than 0-0 or 1-0.
