Nice story and pics guys. Sounds like LYP has more personality than Hong Myung Bo. I got HMB to sign my '02 WC ticket stub when his Galaxy played my Fire, but he was a bit of a mute. Although there was a small mob of Korean fans trying to get his autograph, so he probably just wanted to get through all the signatures as fast as he could.

I'm pretty sure I got a glimpse of you at the time. When I got your text I immediately started scanning the stadium. Weren't too many Koreans there, I think me and LDG20 were the only ones with taegukgis.

Hah yeah, the opportunity only comes once gotta grab it! My Jewish friend who was with me at the time was pretty impressed with how nice LYP was and how he took the time to come over and sign our stuff immediately after the final whistle.

Are you coming to the next game on July 11th? I wanted LYP to sign my Tottenham kit SO BADLY but my friend only wore a t-shirt and was pretty cold so I let him wear it (it's the long sleeve Spurs 125th anniversary kit).

EDIT: and yo, the BMO Field staff are incompetent as hell. We almost missed LYP the second time because they didn't know where the away team bus was stationed. We were running around all over the place and we found it by chance when I happened to peek over the railing and see a huge bus start loading shit.
