Oh god, I desperately want him to do well. It just sucked during the Olympics how the winger positions were our weak spots in midfield. I mean, that has never been the case for so long.....
I think its going to be a LONG time until he scores his next goal. He seems to have just lost all confidence in his shots or something. God, just fucking blast it..... Well, he was never known for his goals anyways. He contributes very well in other ways.
I went to the game today. It wasn't great, but there are signs that we're slowly on the up again. What is obvious though that we are utterly bereft of confidence, and this can only be solved by grinding out victories like tonight. It won't be pretty in the meantime though. A holding midfielder is required - Andrews is a good player at this level, but shouldn't really be a DM. LCY showed a few signs that he's getting back to his best - a few more matches and he should cement his title as the best player in the division (if he doesn't get a move). I can't see it though - we won't let him go cheaply.
They got booed off at half-time, and people got increasingly frustrated. It seems people just thought we'd turn up and thrash teams in the Championship...
Owen Coyle is going to have a heart attack with LCY's call up... I noticed that he made only one substitution against Derby... Hope he doesn't grind out his squad so early in the season in his quest for squad form and confidence. They play Forest on Friday. Then again next Tues and then on Sat. Championship fixtures come fast and furious at the beginning of the season.
And somehow Owen Coyle thinks LCY could get any more injured on national duty than he would playing against third and fourth tier teams? Sigh... I don't mean to bring up bad feelings, but isn't Owen Coyle the same retard that played LCY against Newport County AFC? If I were LCY, I wouldn't want anything to do with Welsh football after the Newport County match.
Rather bizarrely, someone (using Hodori's username) posted word-for-word what I said on here on a Bolton forum I frequent.
