if this is true, i guess that gives qpr an advantage. from what i understand, they are horrible away but a tough nut to crack at home.
Bolton are still less likely to go down than QPR 1. QPR have Stoke and Man City remaining 2. Bolton have West Brom and Stoke remaining If QPR can't secure any points this weekend, Bolton will be fine with even 1 point.
I wonder how many of QPR's signings this past year have a relegation release clause in their contract. So little display of desperation from a team facing relegation.
With two games remaining, there are still so many scenarios. Villa likely to lose vs Tottenham, and not sure about vs Norwich.
for cryin out loud! Wonder if this is the same guy that walked into the England's locker room at the WC in SA, the one vs Algeria...
Not from the match but coyle seems to have realized that he's far away? The tipoff IMO was probably his exclusion fom Olympics. http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/wanderers/wanderersnews/9687961.Coyle_rules_out_Lee_recall/
Chung-Yong Lee completed 75 successful minutes in a behind-closed-doors game against Wigan Athletic on Tuesday afternoon at Lostock. In what was the Korean's first competitive outing since suffering a double leg break almost nine months ago, Wanderers played out a 0-0 stalemate with their Lancashire neighbours. After playing the majority of the game on the left side of a four-man midfield, Chung-Yong was replaced by Bosnian frontman Dino Fazlic deep into the second period. The likes of Adam Blakeman, Mark Connolly, Alex McQuade and Jay Lynch were all also involved, in a side that was led by reserve team boss John Henry.http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/General/0,,1004~2759954,00.html
Slightly different tune today. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...hung-yong-closing-in-on-bolton-return?cc=5901 And yes. Those do look like a wigan youth side. EDIT And some more pics http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.399799600060390.92422.260216390685379&type=1
There is no confirmed information about that I'm afraid. At best he might make the bench for their last match (Stoke), but that seems unlikely imo with the article skim posted and whatnot. Better to play it safe then risk playing when he isn't 100% recovered. I hope Bolton (assuming they don't get relegated) have pre-season matches with better opponents than last time. And I hope everyone playing realises that its the ********ing pre-season and there's no reason to lunge into stupid, reckless tackles that breaks legs and wastes a whole year of such a talented player.
I presume he's just emotional mascot and eighteenth man but he could be on the bench!! http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/9690559.Chung_Yong_to_answer_Whites_SOS/
Let's hope he's really ready and not rushed back. It's not like LCY plays the same position as reo Coker
With the current crop of shiite midfielders available to Owen Coyle, I think it's a good idea, as long as LCY isn't feeling any pain. I've been watching Bolton's mediocrity on the field all season, and I'm convinced that, broken leg or not, he and Holden are still infinitely better than the lot. They need him if they want to stay in the Premier league. In any case, I really want to see him and Miyaichi play together at least once before he goes back to Arsenal. They'll light up the Bolton wings.
If he's running at half speed, can't kick with his repaired leg, and can't tackle, he shouldn't play and would NOT be adding value. One or more of these are high probability problems. Not to mention the likelihood of secondary issues as he tries to get back into fitness, like strains, pulls, etc.
