If Bolton is relegated, he will be an unknown commodity if he only plays 1 or 2 matches. I have a hard time believing that a club will pay close to full face value for a guy coming off that sort of injury. And if his value is depressed, a lot of crappy teams might be in the race vs if he excels in the olympics. If Bolton avoids relegation, which is still very questionable (4 behind but 2 matches in hand), I agree I have a hard time thinking he'd want to play. Better to stay with Bolton and have a solid half to full season at 100%. EDIT as for relegation... Bolton have 2 extra games in hand to narrow the 4 point gap. But man the schedule will be rough for such a thin team. They have a match every 3rd or 4th day until the final week
And some pics of him practicing here... He actually seems to have a bit of upper leg muscle tone... At least compared to before http://www.the-wanderer.co.uk/boards/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=23337&start=60 I guess coyle said he's with first team today
OHHH NICEEE. I want to see him play at least 1 game. I hope they get make it past relegation. It's going to come down to the wire this year.
Lol. I think they were joking at how amazed the team was watching him juggle. The joke being that they've not seen someone juggle the ball more than four times consecutively.
I reckon he should be put on the bench for this one. We have absolutely no other midfield options...it's got to the stage now where an 18-yo is probably making his debut tonight.
They had two matches in hand at the start of today. A win would bring em within 1 pt. Too bad they will play every 3 days... with a thin squad, even keeping pace with QPR/Wigan/etc will be very hard.
Ryo's been lost or MIA in the last several matches. started brightly but faded quite a bit. still a kid though and is adjusting. hopefully Arsenal extend his loan to Bolton into next season. he probably has a good 2 or 3 year development schedule ahead of him especially if they get Podolski
From what I've read at some point in the Japan forum, he was pretty much the savior until he got ningling injuries. TBF, he did do extremely well the first few matches.... He was blazing by defenders with pure speed.
