yes, they suck. Liquidate the team (and the Marlies) and split the proceeds between the Raptors and TFC.
Why get rid of the Marlies, they're actually doing well... first in their division and near the top of the AHL. Still won't win anything, but still, at least they don't suck.
Yes they do indeed suck. It's the only reasonable statement. The real question is what exactly do they suck? I'm going to go with ass. The Wild, by contrast are 21-0-0 when leading after 2. Go, Minny!
For that very reason I say we chant the following simple chant so they get the idea: "Golf Leafs Golf"
As a basketball and footy fan, I have a certain bitterness towards hockey in this city considering that no matter how well Toronto FC or the Raptors do, a crappy leafs team will always take the front page of the sports section over them.
Toronto will always be a hockey town - like it or not - and as such we will live with a Leafs player farting getting more coverage than the Raps and TFC winning would.
That was essentially my point: that this is the reality in this city and that I like it not. That's why I'm all for selling off the assets of the leafs and marlies; selling off the players to medical experiments and giving the proceeds to the raptors and tfc.
