Hey you guys had a good run and you should be proud. I think Lazio has showed more character than most teams in this tournament.

It was always going to be hard especially after that home debacle against Olympiakos but Champions League is a learning process so hopefully for the laziale the club will address the need for more replacements and we'll see you guys back in Europe in two years time.

    Good run guys!

A better second half from Lazio. Got a goal Pandev just got a toe on from an open cross from Rocchi and then some great plays at the end of the game to earn a penelty shot which was saved. i dont think Rocchi should take PK no more after watching that soft kick.

Ballotta needs to stop booting the ball to the other team. he needs to learn to be patient and pass the ball to a defender. Saying that, Ballotta made a few nice saves off Guti and Robben but that was nowhere near enough to get a win out of this game.

well boys, we got one win from champions league and that came from Rocchi's saved PK which he then fortunantly kicked the ball out of the goalies hand.

In Conclusion, we had such a great season last season to get screwed over by injuries. This group i thought we shouldnt have any problems really getting out of, but i was wrong, better off were not in UEFA.. we need this oppertunity now to get into midtable ranking in Serie A

Gutted to be out of Europe so early, I thought we could have gotten through that group even though it was a tough one or at least got a UEFA Cup place. Not getting the UEFA Cup though could really help us move up the league, its not like we have a massive squad to deal with extra fixtures.

Ye we defo need a new keeper,Ballotta is too old to be any use and in fairness to him its not his fault we didnt get a suitable new keeper and he does make the odd good save too.

The 1 match we did win I was at ha Ive been at 2 Lazio matches 3-0 win v Roma and 2-1 win v Werder Bremen, could be a lucky charm haha!

I have to say our fans are among the best in Europe, they made themselves heard throughout and still singing their hearts out at 3-0 down, brilliant supporters. In the 1st 10 minutes we showed what we can play like, some great football but then heads dropped after the goal. Heres to moving up the Serie A table.

    FORZA LAZIO!

I shut off my TV at 3-0 and despite playing a good 2nd half from what I've heard, it is just unfortunate we can't move on, not even to the UEFA Cup. It will take a long time before we can get back to this stage. The lack of depth and quality on defense really hurt us. Scaloni, Siviglia and Ballotta are just not up to this caliber of play. Ledesma was terrible today and we really needed him to support and make the first pass, and he did neither. Megnhi was ok, he missed a good chance that would have turned the game on its head early, but he was probably our best player in the 1st half. Mudingayi and Mutarelli played well early but lacked on decisive passes and faded after the goals. Pandev was invisible in the 1st half, while Rocchi was energetic but off on several plays.

Also was Robinho offside when he received the short corner? If our guys would have paid attention to the play rather than the linesmen the could have prevented the 3rd goal.

Focus on Serie A and maybe we can get into the UEFA Cup next season.

yeah I think thats the best possible scenario....this team was no where near ready talent wise to be in the CL and likely won't be next year.

The UEFA Cup would be a good step, but there is a lot of work to be done to climb all the way up to 6th or 7th....and a much deeper serie a this yr.
