I have a 12 hour layover at Frankfurt Airport, 6 hours on my return. Is that time enough to head into the city? Anything any one recommends to do? Any issues with leaving the airport and security? New at this-any help appreciated.
12h is more thn enough to see the city, 6 won't give you much free time. FFM is the only German city with a sky line to speak of, the historical center is reconstructed but maybe still nice to see, nicest neighbourhood is Sachsenhausen with its bars, local drink is a bitter apple cider.
