Manolo Preciado has passed away after suffering a heart attack http://www.goal.com/en/news/12/spai...-villarreal-coach-manuel-preciado-passes-away
Horrible news I always liked Preciado. He was a man who suffered tragedy in excess in his personal life as his somber facial expressions seemed to indicate at times but soldiered on and had been one of the most interesting personalities in La Liga in his time at Sporting Gijon. Still so young with so much ahead of him too, RIP in Manolo, you were one of the good ones.
Wow. Just hours before he was set to be presented as the new Villarreal coach. Shocking. May he rest in peace. Football will miss him.
Zonalmarking.com has a nice writeup about all the Euro teams, discussing their shape and likely style of play.
^ Man, who gives a Hell? Eff Zonal Marking Enough with the talk let's just get this tourney started up in this piece
Looks like Villarreal will be looking hard to pick themselves up after this loss. Especially given their spectacular fall from grace in recent years.
Sad news about Preciado; RIP and may his family find the support they need to get thru this difficult time.
True. I don't really give a damn about Villarreal. They can get relegated all the way down to 2B4 for all I care.
Nice thread title but to what is it dedicated to? Still the CL final or because of those statements of Mou that he wants to train him in the future? Lahm "Nice to hear that and I have still a long time contract in Munich - so all can happen" -_-;
It was originally "Lamest thread title ever" But got switched to 'Lahmest' for the Lol'z and probably because there isnt much going on at the moment.
