When I renewed it didn't cost me that much cash, because of the credit from the unused bonus games (plus I had unused parking, which I know you don't). If you renew tonight via the STH link online, that would give you more time to find a partner to share your tickets. If you don't find a partner and don't finish paying for the balance of your renewal, you can apply your deposit to other ticket packages or tickets - I asked.
Update. Price is actually $780 for season, $39 per game. Anybody interested in a "partial plan"? I have about a week or two to decide. After that, if no one is interested I'll probably just keep two of them.
As I understand it, you are suggesting that you would buy your four regular seats and then sell a few of those seats to a few games to somebody else to sort of offset your cost?
That's pretty much the idea - offset my cost and the family time commitment to the Galaxy, as well as give someone else a chance to share in the fun. I currently have my four seats (SEC135 A 1-4) being held for another week (or until the ticket reps force me to decide), but am considering dropping two of them. But it seems a waste to break up a nice set of 4 front row seats, and also a waste for us die-hard fans, who are going to go to some amount of games anyway even if the economy tanks and the Galaxy suck, a waste not to take advantage of the reduced STH rate. Additionally, since I probably won't renew all 4 seats without some interest in sharing them, if someone was willing to commit to 4 games a season or more, I'd be willing to commit to equitable renewal rights, i.e. I'd guarantee that I'd continue to sell 4 games a season to you each year.
Ive got some emails from LAG today... I think I did this last year, but dont remember what the "holiday card" is for. Do they mean I have to pay for the Galaxy to send me a greeting card?
An owner and a stadium ago we didnt have to pay to have a greeting card sent to us. What a difference in organizations. Whats next, I have to pay every time LAG calls me before a game now? Id go broke really quick!
I think they are marketing this "Holiday Pack" as a gift. So in addition to the tickets you are purchasing for your intended recipient (or yourself if thats the case) they are throwing in the scarves and the card so you can let your giftee know who sent 'em the wonderful gift of Galaxy soccer........
