Any thoughts about Sunday's game against Sky Blue and how we match up? Don't know a lot about Sky Blue besides the star players, any insight?

I think our speed and creativity up top is going to give sky blue trouble. We attack aggressively and put a lot of pressure on the back line.

Fitness and inability to link passes could be issue as another early season game.

I think we'll be just fine given that we've already played.

Do you guys get any TV for this game? You should be able to watch ALL of Marta's games on TV.

No TV of game unfortunately. League should consider streaming video over internet as relatively low cost to do and lots of colleges do this for their soccer games.

Agree that Sol have advantage given that is is their second game so expect more smooth play from them. Still think fitness will be issue in 2H depending on size of field and speed of game.

Speed kills and Washington has Kai and O'Reilly. Might have to move Makoski to defense again although I'm not sure she can keep pace with either Kai or O'Reilly. If Walsh is fast as well it could be a track meet. Maybe Larkin as a midfielder to slow down O'Reilly?

Walsh is fast all right- as fast as De Vanna, if you saw any of her runs last week.

Will this game be on matchtracker? Is anyone tweeting?

Agree that speed kills and very dangerous in soccer....knew Kai was fast, did not realize Heather O. was also fast. They could be a handful for our back line and important to try to stop them from getting deep and/or around the outside backs.

Conversely, Sol also has tremendous speed up top as evidenced by Marta play in 1H of first game. I think she will give the Sky Blue defence fits, just need some other Sol players to fully support her efforts by being there for give and go's, last pass, etc.

Perhaps, key to the game will be MF and which side dominates?

WPS needs to do something for their fans to be able to follow their team's games. I did talk to the Athletica office and they said WPS plans to do something online so in the next month or so we should have some viewing options.

I might travel to the game, if I can get some interest going here.

Anyone know best chance to get some Sol autographs ? Before or after the game ? Or half-time ?

For anyone going to the game today (or if you know someone at the game today):

If you have twitter capabilities on your mobile phone please join the group WPSFansGameDay on twitter. Then send the group DIRECT MESSAGES about what you are seeing at the game. Direct messages will be sent to all members of the group.

It's a play by play from the perspective of the fans.

It would be great if people join since Matchtracker doesn't seem to be working right now.

    Thanks,
    WPSFansGameDay

Matchtracker is up, but I wonder if the match started late or if there's a time lag? They're only at 25´when it was supposed to start on the hour.

few minutes before marta scored they took out rampone. Unless she is injured that was moronic. Shes one of few defenders with enough speed to cover marta.
