    My 2 cents:
Well the season has come to an end and an era of dominance has continued with metapan winning the 2011 Apertura championship...congratulation must go to everyone working at metapan with them being able to show how an organisation is run, this year has been very successful for metapan a championship and qualification to the quarter final of the cconcacaf champions league.
Now to the game with two side that can attack ...we expected high scoring atatcking displayed like a blind date we never get what we expect the game was a dull defensive afafir and when a goal was scored spectaular strike by paolo suarez it cam through a defensive mishap ...once municipal lack of experience showed with fouls galour they reverted back to their old style of play and shot themselves in the foot
overall thoguh for once municipal it was a great season they should eb congratulated for reaching this far in the pre season predictition by our forum posters no one had them even making the semi final
as a final taste i will show the awards of the primera division comapre with the prediction of the bloggers which was won by drum roll......... TBR with 5 ccorrct though special mention has to go to salva trucho who was the only one to predict most improved team and best coach

    The best amd worst award
top goalkeeper: Juan Jose Gomez, some of the save he made for aguila almost kept them in so many games
Top Coach: Andres Sarulyte (Once Municipal) took a team who finished last and playing disgraceful football to a team that almost won the championship with attacking flair
Rookie of year: defintley atletico marte danis ramirez i thought he was outsatnding and is the player of the future
top foreign player: Sean Fraser has singled handly invested intrest in first division clubs looking in the caribbean for players..his goals and contribution were outstanding

worst signing: tough but leonarda da silva of alianza wins just over jhon castillo at least castillo was injured and spent the season trying to recover...leonardo was all over the place he lost his scoring touch and took the place of rising young stars like nelson bonilla
disappointing team of the season: Alianza defending champions players lost their attacking strength, player walk out, switching of coaches and missing the final and several dud signings
disappointing coach of the year: Juan ramon paredes with a team of young superstars and strong foreign players and experienced players were expected to fight for a top four spot however they struggled and were in the battle for bottom spot for most part of the season
wasted money of foreign player of the year: jhon castillo injured for most of the season and form was out of it alainza wasted a strong spot for no reason
worst team crowd attedance of the year: Vista hermosa home games were a disgrace to watch several times we thought we watching a training run not a first division team home game

wow Once Municipal are starting to lose their imports players that made such a difference...rumors have it the mexican pablo hutt might head back to guatemala with municipal, also leonardo da silva has signed with metapan weird signing in my blog i voted him as the poorest signing in the league for last season.

Esnal has been a disappointment. For a player who came from a strong league and a respectable club, not to mention he is a veteran with superior size compared to most of our players he's been a complete let down.

Juve will get relegated and Metapan will take it all again.

    Watch Highlights:

My two cents: well they say what goes around comes around certainly the case for aguila...their shortsightedness in terms of refusing to release jj gomez to play in moldova, refusing to give benji villabolos, refusing to look outside the regular coaching circle (i call the five touchables eraldo correria, ruben alonso, nelson ancheta, roberto gamarra, Hand ugo Coria ) and now they have lost two games let in seven goals and were outplayed by UES at home by the only one of the touchables that aguila hasn't been coached by. Its a shame Aguila have reached this bad state last title all the way back in 2006.....six years twelve different coaching changes (ten different coaches), two ownership changes and turnover of almost fifty players (including several promising young players) is disgraceful...this shows the bad side of football the impatient and short sighted side of el salvador soccer.
I hope they ccontinue to go bad...so they can finally wake up and realise their errors of their way and change for the better.

    Trivia
Vista is now nine points away from UES, the last team that had that much of a gap to close to stay promoted were juventud olimpico in 2000 and they were relegated

No offense to Aguila and their fans but I also hope they continue to struggle they just demonstrate everything that is wrong with our clubs. I mean in 6 years they have that high of player turnover as well as coaching turnover and no one at the club learns anything its hard to understand how that is even possible let alone repeated in several other clubs.

Their fans are fuirous with several calling for the sacking of eraldo correria and wanting those that prevented Juan Jose Gomez to play abroad in moldova and those who refuse to let misael alfaro and salvador coreas (assitsstant coaches) travel to the usa when they go play fas in the united states to resign....these include jeering and booing and showing signs for coach and the directors of the club to quit their post
    External links: http://www.elsalvadorfc.com/2012-01-17-campana-contra-correia

meanwhile Vicente Ruiz the referee of the alianza and atletico marte has been accused of racism by jamaican Garrick Gordon...apprantely while sending him off, the ref said " negro mother ********er"....this certainly not the first time these two clashed over racist remark with a complaint made by marte soyapango (the club garrick gordon used to play for) for similar comments
if this is certainly the case this referee should be suspeded from ever refereeing a professional or amateur competition...we dont want this stone age mentality to seem the norm...i want the league to represent the beauty of the league which is embracing different countries, culture and race to play the beautiful game and share the passion of our clubs and league

You nailed it its Vicevic lasting an impressive 3 games although technically he quit. Let the coaching carousel begin.
