Once Municipal are closer to staying in the first division after out of the nine teams six voted in favour for them staying for several reason (which uinclude decent staduims, good finance, strong medical team and fans base.
this put a thought should the first division become like mls for the first five years to get teams put more emphasis on working both on and off the field and maybe prvent the huge amount of teams who have failed after demotion to the second division
    http://www.laprensagrafica.com/deportes/futbol-nacional/196484-once-municipal-cerca-de-volver.html

Irza Santos has been signed by c.d. aguila for the next three season, i am so happy to hear this one talented youngster
    http://www.laprensagrafica.com/depo...rza-santos-sera-otro-refuerzo-en-el-nido.html

in the second division once lobos has taken a huge stride to qualify to the final after defeating pasaquina 3-0 in the first leg, meanwhile Brasilia drew with Juventud indiependiente 2-2 in the first leg of the semi final

Slamin, I just want to thank you for keeping these forums updated in the past days. Been pretty busy myself...I saw the article earlier that Larin signed onto Atletico Marte...Paredes is doing a hell of a job and I hope that squad finds a way to make the playoffs for this upcoming season.

Aguila are still deciding between which goalkeeper to sign either Juan Jose Gomez or rafael fuentes.
Alo thre foreign players have arrived to fight for the last two remaining spot, remembering Glauber Silva (ex atletico marte) has taken one spot
the players are Luis ruiz (costa rican), Lucas Goulart Carral (brazilian-portugese) and a un-named Honduran player
    * http://www.elgrafico.com/destacado-portada/36-destacadas/13788-el-aguila-comienza-a-mover-las-alas.html

with only two foreign spots left the club are trrying out nine foreign players to fill these spot they include one brazilian, two canadians, and players from guatemala

    From ElGrafico's Facebook account :

Can't blame him. I wish him the best. As for FAS, tsk tsk tsk...that team is going to fall off without him. With that roster anyways.

Slamin mentioned this yesterday in another thread but it can go in here too...

Firpo has signed former Metapan striker, Anel Canales.

Thrilled to see that Juan Campos will not return to Aguila after all. It's pretty messed up from the standpoint that the man needs a job...hopefully he can find another spot out there...but I really think he adds nothing for Aguila.

Once Municipal has signed Goalkeepers Jose Luis Gonzalez and Jassir Deras.

JuanJo Gomez says he has no deal in place with Aguila as of yet.

    Another update on UES...

    He found a team...

Well i guess its going to take time for the players to take the Asociación de Futbolistas de El Salvador (AFES) seriously after none of the active players invited failed to show up.
I guess its going to take time for the elague, the players and everyone associated to the league to accept that a change is needed to fix up the first division
    Link: http://www.elgrafico.com/destacado-...4514-nadie-atendio-el-llamado-de-la-afes.html

well connecting to the previous article about the lack of professionalism in the league, the clubs preisdent will reunite with FESFUT to decide on the situation with Once Municipal (this is beyond a joke the league starts in five weeks to have a playoff or to demote once municipal will cause havoc absolute poor leadership on behalf of the first division).

Its sad to see FAS so desperate for financial assitance they have asked for donations from their supporters on their facebook page
(I remember when FAS were once the club other club envied finacially with sponsorship from pilsener, umbro, american airlines, NASH, Pepsi, Coca cola, Corona list goes on)

That's very disturbing news from fas, what a shame thr things that happend in our league. So I'm guessing that the accusations of losing games on purpose has taken a toll in their financial status.

well their financial status has been ongoing issue since Byron rodriguez took over as president then continued with the colombian ownership of magarita jaramillo and Victor aleman
it said during the qualification rounds fas sound games to help pay their players, plus any sponsorship would see an asssociation to fas as toxic with the current ownership
The sad thing is i believe the president magarita jaramillo has very little to do with the corruption personally i beleive her poor leadership and the fact she was away often exaspated the problem
when i get the time i will start a group and outline ways to improve the first division because if we want to compete and bring back the glory days we have to fix up the first divisiom

So Titan and Juventud Indepediente are currently facing off as I type this...winner of the match earns a spot in the 1st division.

Score is currently 1-1 after just 12 minutes of play.
