Well I only saw the first goal live, came back from my meeting to see this replay (Ini to Messi to Ini to Messi to golazo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lo29T6u2tAY&feature=youtu.be

Then had work interruptions and missed the last 2 goals. I saw the score was then 4-0 and figured Messi had a brace or a hat trick. Very nice to see Alexis got the brace and that Pedro has scored in two straight Liga games (after not scoring in La Liga for months) and they were both headers. Wow. Happy. Sure I do want Leo to beat Gerd Muller's 67 goal record, but we are a tougher team to beat with Alexis and Pedro providing goals. Another Cuenca assist too.

Two header goals?!?!? Nice to play against a team shorter than us. ;)

Pep gave an emotional, somber but positive post-game press conference

I've got to hand it to Pep for taking all this adversity and channeling it into the team's task. This stuff could have become a distraction or excuse to underperform, but it's just all been inspirational.

I'd say it's even harder to achieve this year since last season Abidal's diagnosis was new and people could rally behind him. Now with the transplant it's become more serious and it could be very easy for players and staff to pull those anxieties about Abi's future into anxieties about this season's run-in. Instead, it's all been marvelously positive, starting with Pep's serious and positive attitude. Bravo, Pep.

What a formidable display we put on today. Very proud of the team, and the offensive formation, it's been a while since I've seen a match like that in the league. Very happy that Sanchez scored twice and Pedro scored once. Messi's goal was nuts, first for the build-up play with Iniesta and second for the power which he generated. Those shoulder feints and dribbling skills at the end of the match....amazing.

I don't think I've ever seen Puyol in such an advanced role for so much time in any one match. Busquets was also quietly brilliant. I liked that Cuenca actually chose to take on the defenders by the touchline a little later in the second half because he was just passing it back in to the middle in the earlier parts of the second half.

    Anyways, three more points.

I thought that was Dani out there for a minute, making runs towards the touchline and throwing in crosses. Nope just Captain Tarzan. :)

    Great game, fun to watch.

Anways...Visca Atletico! My second favorite team in the world will be Atl. Madrid tomorrow. God speed Los Rojiblancos!

It's impossible for just about everyone. A new adjective has got to be made to describe him.

Great win, guys, hopefully Atleti can do you a favor but I wouldn't bet on it. They're such cowards against Real that it's unbelievable that they still call it a derby.
