In informal typed discourse such as this, I'm not too anal. In promotional material, it's just a clear case of the ball being dropped. In other news, I got my Jersey yesterday and as a man who normally wears a large in most clothing, the 2XL actually fit me perfectly. They run small and are fitted, so unless you're a buff large, people ought to consider stepping up a couple of sizes. EDIT: BTW, my wife got it for about $123 after postage and packaging at Soccer.com.
yeah i tried on the sounders official kit for sizing at the toronto match and XL was actually a bit tight on me, usually wear medium - large. I'm debating on getting the kit period now since the sizing is a bit too tight
I think it points to more evidence LA has moved more (all?) of their design responsibilities to an internal and understaffed team.
Has anyone tried to call their attention to the typo? These are electrons, not cuneiforms on mud tablets. It's not that hard to correct the error.
AEG isn't exactly poor, they should be a lot more attuned to the way the Galaxy present themselves, and this is definitely not our best foot forward.

I don't know if it's technically advertising but, on Jeopardy today they had a category 'TEAM PLAYERS' and the $1000 question/answer was "Robbie Keane, Landon Donovan & David Beckham". The guy tentatively said "Los Angeles...Galaxy?" just before his time ran out.
yeah i saw that, i was thinking wtf is wrong with him. he clearly knew the answer but seemed to stutter like a "cool kid" in school trying to save face by knowing something the teacher asks
As someone that makes video compilations from time-to-time, I will say US Soccer and MLS/LA do a pretty good job of providing comprehensive highlights, pre- & post-game coverage and other media via outlets like YouTube. In fact, they seem a lot better than even the top leagues, in my experience. It's nigh impossible to find "official" video of Landon at Everton, for example, and what is around is copyrighted and can't be used in compilations. It's smart keeping a huge archive of match vids with a public license so fans can share them and make their own compilations. Free advertising.
Not only that - video is a huge chunk of social advertising and marketing. The fact that FIFA doesn't allow this is outdated and missing out on a huge opportunity. I love the videos that US Soccer and MLS make - wonder if they spend socially behind them. They should.
On another note, went to my first Kings game last night and can see what jmaestro, phoenix and co were driving at. It's not the stadium environment I'm used to. It was a very different experience with the level of amenities and things to do between periods. The game was also fun. Didn't hurt that I was enjoying a luxury suite at no cost to myself...

Admittedly it has been a LONG time since I was in college, but those package prices look pretty steep to me for a college kid. But maybe college kids have more money to throw around these days...
As a college student, you're right. $35 for the beer garden is them same price for everyone. The beer garden is a step in the right direction if you want to attract college kids, but have special discounts if you have a student ID or something. I really wish they had student tickets.
Never heard of Undefeated before. Is the 5 hashmark thing their logo or is it supposed to represent our "quest for five"? I like the sword and shield thing anyway.
