Yep, things are heating up in the player market.

Among the current crop of trialists at Dens Park is Kyle Zenoni (writes Graeme Finnan).

The 22-year-old American midfielder arrived a few weeks ago via a recommendation from club owner Peter Marr, and team boss Alex Rae is keeping a close eye on him in training.

Dens Park is the home turf of Dundee United.

And Kyle? Born in 1984, he finished up at UWM this spring:

He was drafted by the (indoor) Chicago Storm.

Zenoni is a decent player, good for him he always had dreams of playing pro somewhere.

Tighe Dombrowski is in Sweden somewhere right now too for IK Sirius of the second division. Ik Sirius is in Uppsala, home of former UWM stars Antou Jallow now of Gelfe IF in the Allsvenskan and Khaled El-Ahmad current assistant coach at Marquette U.

Zenoni is still unsigned, but attended the club's recent "Open Day" where he mingled with fans who, apparently, have taken a liking to him.

Kyle got a brief mention on BBC's site today, as well as a few other sites that ran similar articles. He'll be joined on trial with Dundee by UNC Wilmington's Keith Shevlin, who is not a Yank, and play in something called a "bounce game" tomorrow:

    And SFS as well.

Anyway, Dundee should sign him because the kid can sell T-shirts at the very least.
